Seeing the comments of people saying this is weird and that she needs to grow up really pisses me of. These “dolls” are made as a hobby and for those who can’t have a baby, or for those like me who have anxiety or depression, or have had a miscarriage or something happen during pregnancy and they are used as a coping method. She clearly enjoys her baby and if this is what she wants to do then mind your own business. That being said, I love your baby and think it is absolutely beautiful. You take great care of it and now I wanna take my sweet boy out shopping. 💕

Well said! I have a Reborn to help me w/my PTSD episodes! She keeps me calm. I also get anxious when I'm out shopping, so Bella goes w/me nearly everywhere. I decided not to have kids when I was 25 bcause of other medical problems. And like most Reborn Moms, I don't have the funding for adopting or fostering a real baby. Some dirtbags hurt our family during past few yrs. Waiting for our case against them to be settled. One of them hurt my furbabies. Bfore all this happened I was a Pet Mama.

A hobby is when you collect things, but when you start treating inanimate objects as a living being, then you have a problem. I would love one of these.. Ive wanted to be a mom as far back as I can remember. These babies are are made so beautifully. I unfortunately got pregnant and miscarried pretty late to find out the chemo i need wont allow me to have that chance again. Its amazing the art work they do with these babies. Renee Rose, I am so sorry to hear of your miscarriage. I understand as well about admiring the creativity of the reborn artist but like you I could not afford to purchase one. So, after admiring the creativity of another I decided to make my own. I did and I enjoyed putting it together. Perhaps you can make you one of the dolls like I did. It was not as expensive to make it myself as I thought it would be and I used air dry paints because I could not handle any of the fumes that might come from baking the doll.

No, nothing can take the place of your birth children or adopted children, however, you can collect them or have them to be your company. I have 3 reborns myself and you two are so courageous to take her out to the store. I haven't been able to bring myself to do that yet, as I already get ripped on at home for having them. :/ I do have 2 children of my own, but for years before that I struggled with fertility. I had to have a complete hysterectomy 2 years ago and both my kids are now teenagers (the oldest will be 18 next year) and I have been struggling with the mental aspect of all of that.
