Wow, that's a great baby care video. I was actually just looking for a video on that topic, my only other thing was how to make a baby sleep while traveling in a coach or bus, which has a lot of noises and the pressure those huge glasses create even I can feel that. How the baby would resist the glass pressure coming from both sides? By the way thanks doctor. Pediatrician is a godly job you do.

Wow!! All this pressure I've had from people to force sleeping at night. Making me feel like a failure. This has really helped me feel more relaxed and not feel like I'm doing it wrong. Thank you.

I have a dumb question. I am a new father of a 3 month old girl. She always has troubles falling asleep. We really keep an eye on her when she gets drowsy but she simply refuses to sleep try as we might. Then she enters that state where she is over-tired and can't sleep again. Today she was awake for about 3 and a half hours and only slept for about 30 minutes before waking up again. Are we doing something wrong? She was fed, diaper changed, I tried to lull her to sleep by singing her a lullaby, but nothing helped. Have you guys experienced something similar and how did you handle it? Any advice is more than welcome.

Sometimes baby have some other kind of disconfort, sometimes gases or something like that. It is important to create a "ritual" for the nigh. Starting with a warm bath, followed with a massage with lavender oil and a song (just an example). Don't forget to put the temperature around 70 72 degrees, and a very gentle light. You probably doing nothing wrong, I know that is very stressfull, but with patience and time you will find the best way for your little one to sleep. There is no perfect way because each baby is different. Once a have friends that put the baby in the car and was driving around (was the only way they got the baby to sleep. LOL) Good luck.

I'm going through the same thing with my 2 month old, he sleeps well through the night but during the day his nap time winds up being super short because he keeps waking up and won't go back to sleep. I see your comment is a few months old, do you have any tips for helping them stay asleep?

@@nooneuknow48 Hi there. It's really tough, isn't it? But as far as I registered, the baby has some discomofort or needs what we all actually end up needing: someone close. For my little girl it turned out, she simply wanted someone close to her, like next to her on the bed. Figured this out by accident, when I fell asleep next to her, because I was so tired xD But yeah, that was basically it. If you say your boy sleeps through the night just fine, this might be it. He simply needs mommy or daddy close by. Try it out. Hope it helps.

Is it ok for a baby 6weeks old sleeping for 5-6 hours at a stretch at night?
@heavensentbrown31153 ай бұрын
No you should wake your little one up every 2.5 hours to breastfeed or every 3-4hrs if formula fed 🤗🤗🤗

My 7 weeks newborn slept for 7 hours without waking up for feeding last night. I did not set up an alarm to wake him up for feedings because he’s usually waking me up to eat and I slept throughout the night too. I will set up an alarm for feedings moving forward. Should I be concerned about it? He usually sleeps well during the night waking up for feeding every 3 hours and then going back to sleep again.

I think if the baby is growing normally and feeding plenty during the day, you can feel lucky if she sleeps for that long and lets you catch up on your sleep :D
