Newcastle Anzac Memorial Walk is definitely beautiful. I do realise that there has to be steps on entry but I feel the steps on the walkway itself is extremely poor. Watching some of the Anzac marches there were quite a few soldiers who were in wheelchairs. It says above "This video is proudly dedicated to **ALL** who served and are serving from Newcastle and the Hunter. It is a shame that to fully enjoy this walk people have to be "able bodied" In my opinion the Council should hang their head to have passed these plans

Kerri Pointer-Palmer Hi Kerri, we are pretty sure you can also access the Walkway from Strzelecki Lookout where there are no stairs and parking nearby.

I know the wheelchairs can access the walkway but looking at the walkway itself. In some parts there are stairs. The walkway is only accessible in part once on the walkway.
