@@DeanH92 my dad supported newcastle and i always had a soft spot for that city and its people going back 30 years. When keegan was manager who do you think the scousers were rooting for against united in 1996 when you nearly won a Premiership title. I suppose there has never been any sort of rivalry or bad blood between the clubs. I know a lot of liverpool supporters who would like to see newcastle do well not at the cost to liverpool of course but if we cant win why not newcastle. Either way i think newcastle over the coming years might eclipse city as the major force in england especially when pep and klopp decide to leave.

Before Abramovich Chelsea were a solid side but never able to even mount a decent premier league challenge
