I think that line-up is our current best starting set-up. ON another day, Murphy scores one of those and Gordon finishes his one-on-one chances. On the other hand, how many did Liverpool hit the frame with? Good exciting terrifying game.

We need some consistency and to build on this performance, the big test for us will be going away to the teams around us and winning those games, upling our game against the big teams was never an issue. Great point, but i do feel robbed by that penalty on Isak, VAR need to answer why they did not send the ref to the monitor! Their shout was def not a penalty, watch it again mate, Burn’s left arm is tucked into his side and it comes off his elbow/back not his outstretched right arm. Ours def a penalty, contact with Isak’s knee which knocks him off balance and to the ground. Van Dyke should have been shown at least a yellow for his assault on Gordon off the ball, a deliberate shoulder to the head (in Rugby he would have been sent off). And why did the ref stop the game when he did? He didn’t add enough time on and should have let the phase play out. Mo Salah was the big difference for them (wonder what he would look like in black and white 😂). Great video, hope you had fun with your mates being a punter for a change.

I would argue Liverpool were lucky without Salah they lose that game by miles, even with Salah if we were clinical first half we go in 3-0 up. Not to mention the pen and the final whistle. Liverpool have gotten something or beaten us when they haven’t deserved it to many times. Liverpool really didn’t deserve a point yesterday, but Salah deserved 3 points for his second half. Outrageous 😊

Good performance, but it's in keeping with this season. We can play well against the top teams who come at us and give us space behind. And where no extra motivation is required. Its against the teams who sit back where we look clueless and really struggle to get up for it and score goals.

If we had a RW we'd have won, the chances Murph missed, painful to watch! Eddie needs to make changes when tired legs, get J7 off & Murph off before they concede! Barnes had little impact, the huge difference was in the subs, their bench has far more quality than ours, Wilson should have been on sooner.

This was a bitter sweet result to me. Why the hell didn't we get 6 points from West Ham and Palace yet we are thrilled with 2 points from 3 games? I'd have taken 6 points from 3 games any day. Yes everyone singing the praises and yes it was a good performance from the team but we still conceded 3 goals which were by mistakes which could have been avoided. But we have another tough game against a very good Brentford who score every game they play so lets see if can pick up some points or is this it for the season only playing against the top teams and claiming praise for that.
