As a Newcastle fan, That game should have been over for Newcastle by half time with the possession and chances created! Instead, Brighton get one chance and score! That's the players YOU WANT in a team, one chance= one goal! We couldn't score in a brothel, and therefore Brighton 101% deserved the win! They were FAR from the better team, BUT they took their chance and seen out the game! Fair play..... We didn't deserve the win! Eddie's not to be blamed, the team were on the front foot for most of the game as was with the Everton game. The finishing in both games were atrocious. It's up to the attacking players to step up and be better. We definitely need reinforcements in attack to add competition to push the players to perform. For now we endure, and hope the January transfer window provides a solution

If you're comparing this performance to the Bruce era you've lost your mind. Fact is Brighton are a very good team, now in the top 4. Newcastle dominated this game and created more than enough good chances to win, but lost because of terrible finishing and a defensive lapse from a backline missing its two best players in Botman and Trippier. The PL is tough, if you don't put away your chances, you don't win games.
