If it is a rebuild, and of course no one knows do they, the council would have to give permission for Barrack Road and strawberry place to be re routed, via an underpass or some other diversion, and SJP moved further over on to Barrack rd, giving space for the East stand to be developed, also demolishing the car park area at the back of the Leazes end to make way, therefore rebuilding from that site and that will make more room for all the corporate stuff, hotels, fan zone, over the back of the Gallowgate end on to strawberry place, like what they are doing at the etihad with Man City. Anything is possible nowadays with the top architects on board. Add, Everton"s ground is an engineering marvel, if you look at the videos of it been built on Bramley moor docks, the architects and engineers nowadays are of the highest calibre. The Council is cash strapped and will allow the necessary rebuild or new stadium. Add, the work that it will bring in to the city and income it will build is a must, Of course there will be some folk not happy, objections from various quarters, but NUFC is the very biggest cultural thing in our city by a country mile. If it's a new stadium, obviously the Leazes park is the obvious candidate as you know, and we may also be able to continue playing at SJP. Add, the park gets revamped also, or any other piece of ground the council asks for, as land taken apparently has to be replaced. And Leazes park is grade two listed as is the Town Moor hoppings site, now that is a site that surely has to be looked at, it's only a 10/15 min walk up from SJP. The immediate Town Moor "city" site is 349 acres, Leazes park is 43 acres. 50 to 60 acres of the Town Moor land would do the trick that builds a stadium, fan zone, hotel, car parking etc There is, ancient law that says land can be donated by the freeman and council for cultural reasons, well, NUFC is as I've mentioned the biggest cultural thing in our city. But whatever the club desides i will go along with it, i mean, standing outside the strawberry and seeing the Gallowgate and East stand match the 200ft Leazes end, what a sight, marvellous. Bet you weren't expecting that long winded answer😁 it's only opinions, and I could talk about it all day, good luck with your videos in future. HWTL.

Thank you so much for your extremely knowledgeable reply ! I agree about the movement of the ground towards barrack road and it was mentioned quite a while ago that the pitch and stadium would be turned 90 degrees to possibly make this work also. I was thinking of this when I put my little video together. Though I would leave it for another day. That plan was very clever. We would surely find it very disorientating for a while !. Many thanks. Will continue to try and put some videos together. Just using my phone at present. I just want what's best for the club also. Been going to St James since 1968 ❤

@@tommygun7187 @tommygun7187 Tommy, we have Populous on board, these people are amazing, they have built some of the greatest stadiums in the world, they are the world's leading architects, have a look at this link i will give you, they built a temporary stadium in New York for the T20 cricket World Cup 34,000 seater, it 4 months to erect, thing is, if we rebuild SJP, Populous would be able to erect a temporary stadium in no time maybe around 40,000 capacity while work was being carried out at SJP. And the dismantled stadium only took 6 weeks to dismantle in New York. And the obvious site for me is the Town Moor, Hoppings site, it's perfect, and obviously once work is completed on SJP, the temporary stadium gets taken down. It's another option for sure, as we obviously need somewhere to play. Money not an issue! www.dezeen.com/2024/01/29/world-cup-cricket-stadium-new-york-temporary-populous/
