it would be great that Newcastle west got sports complex like Tralee it like 10 years over due with Swimming pool ,Gym ,Hall , other actives bring life in to place .is there any chance that Newcastle west will get sports complex this year.

i found this on shane ross facebook any good to you Glenalbyn update 🏊‍♀️ Cllr Deirdre Donnelly and I met with DLR Chief Executive Philomena Poole on Monday to discuss progress with Glenalbyn Swimming Pool. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council reiterated they are fully committed to the project and we were assured that progress is being made in the talks between DLRCoCo and Kilmacud Crokes. DLRCoCo will endeavour to have answers to all of Kilmacud Crokes outstanding queries regarding the proposed building works and the implications for their club within the next month. The Council agreed to apply for Stage 1 funding for my Department’s Large Scale Sports Infrastructure Fund which could provide money for the design stage of the project. This application confirms the Council’s support for the reopening of our local pool.
