All i gotta say is...Thank God our bigger competitions are starting to use any sort of Visual Judging system, so we can really see what the judges are thinking. Now. All we have to do is learn from it for the next time... But both crews did their thing, aside from the controversial judging, this battle was dope!

ProDance TV The transparency is nice, but do you think the immediate feedback to the bboys is halting the natural flow of the battle, plus it gives an psychological boost to whoever is winning, as well as the eliminating suspense of the winner at the end of the battle. Why not adopt the r16 method where it has scores on each battle aspect? that way has a legitimate, quantifiable scoring method

Duy Truong I totally agree, if someone is down 2-0 in a best of five it always makes them hang their heads and it lowers their energy every time. They could show the results but should always battle all the rounds, the bboys can always just do easy rounds if they feel it's an easy win.

ProDance TV Transparency is cool and all, but being transparent is all it does really, at the cost of many others much more crucial factors. Some were already named here, the biggest being perhaps the morale issue. Seeing how you are faring round for round, as opposed to flowing through the whole battle, immersed and in battle spirit, totally changes a bboys composure, confidence and battle tactics, effectively affecting the possible outcome. I'll join the obvious majority and disagree with its implementation...

Im usually levelheaded when it comes to the judges decisions and I always try my best to understand why each judge voted for a side, but the fact that Yaman gave Nabil and Keys 5 Rounds is really SUSPECT... As somebody who cares about the culture and the integrity of competitions , Id want the organizers of this event to take a look at the judges decisions for future reference.... Nonethelessm, WBC was fire. Props to both competitors Peace!

Best old schools judges in my opinion are: Poe One, Storm, Renegade and Cross One. These guys are never bias and spend alot of time with the newer generation. Not to say that others haven't been teaching the new generation it's just that these four seem the best non bias to me. Understand that not every good bboy is going to be as good a judge compared to their dance.

This was a terrific battle. Dopeness on both sides! However, I have two problems with this system. Since they do it round by round, and don't add up total judge scores' like the R16 system does, no matter how hard you rip in the final battle, you still come up short because you can't get more than 1 point from one round. Also, Yaman did vote France every round. We need callouts to become apart of this system, as a skill check and balance. Other than that, these events are crazy. The filming is beautiful. And the fact that younger bboys/bigrls can see this caliber of bboying without having locals, is amazing. Thank you ProDance for bringing these videos to us for free. To undisputed: Please implement a method of checking and "disputing" judges decisions. That last round was all Issei. At least an interview with Yaman explaining why he voted everytime. Video playback is accessible, so he can even highlight his decision making process. I just don't understand. But I am willing to hear him out, because he has danced longer than me and is dope in his scene.

vincent brown R16 system was, in my opinion, the best one. You can really see if a judge is biaised when he puts bad score on someone who did pretty good in some category (for example, Differ vs Issei, Differ having only 3 in "Battle" category whereas he could get 5 thanks to his round)

Adil MSQ I agree that it has been the best one yet for accountability in big comps. We really just need to put a "check" into place that accounts for a judge being wrong, and challenge him/her when they are wrong. It's going to take some tweaking, but I believe we can do it. Especially when callout battles are already apart of the culture. Just, a "retribution round" or "callout" battle would need to be presented in a fluid, and honest, way, so as to avoid plain boredom from outrageously extended battles from repeated calls of unjust judging.
