Bboying is the hardest dance and requires the most athleticism, strength, power, flexibility, musicality and skill. Dont even question it. No dance will ever surpass bboying.

Not musicality. This was a great showcase of bboy musicality, but if you watch the top rounds it’s always a guy doing some insane athletic technical moves to the breaks in the track or just flaring for 30 seconds, never a full round of meticulous track killing that you’d get from people like the twins, Alex the cage, kefton, Leo, rubix, evion, icee, or any other top level hip hopper

Plus there are even some Bboys agree that dancing is not about difficult/athletic move look at domics(that animation youtuber) sure he is not a popular dancer but hes also a bboy what he said about dancing is true, its not about doing cool moves its about dancing and grooving to the music. You have bboys like neguin, bboy issei, bboy code, bboy junior, alex the cage, Maximus etc. who can actually groove to a song with just bboying not like those other bboys who just do cool moves and think they win. Even a ballet/ samba dancer who has musicality can win against a bboy who doesn’t have musicality in terms of dancing. You guys have to learn the difference between “dancing” and doing cool moves.

Partner moves are pretty gimmicky but this wasn’t a serious competition. Les Twins did plenty of partner stunts in Fusion Concept this year. They specialize in solo freestyle though.

Mano, tá falando bobagem, o break é a dança mais criativa do universo hip Hop, pega 10 campeões mundiais de break e vc verá, estilos completamente diferentes, existe os fundamentos, porém, a criatividade do break é algo diferente em toda as danças, o estilo do les Twists é fantástico, porém meu amigo, em termos de criatividade e diferenciação, não tem comparação ao break, nem de perto.

Fundamentos é uma coisa, estilo, assinatura, flavor é outra parada. Break tem isso mais que qualquer dança da cultura Hip Hop. De novo, compara os campeões mundiais de break aí de anos seguidos. This was a terrible matchup. You can’t put Bboys against New Age Hip-Hop dancers. We are talking about breakdance, one of the highest levels of dance and athleticism anyone can reach. Whoever thought this was a good idea need to get knocked over the head, it’s clear who wins the match without even watching.

I’ve seen bboys vs hiphoppers where it’s fine. Waydi majid reina vs bboys comes to mind, as well as waydi vs toufeeq, and every year at fusion concept hiphoppers and krumpers crush bboys. I just think Larry sucked ass here, Lau didn’t do bad imo, but this is one of the best bboy sets I’ve ever seen in terms of musicality and creativity.
