I switched the main battery out. It’s recommended to change both at the same time

@iRepairAutos I've changed out many MB batteries over the years. I've never once changed the capacitor. It's never come up in a scan, and I've been lucky to never have a persistent battery light. BUT... if I ever do, I'll be limbo dancing myself under the dashboard like a pro.
