Today I recieved a new 180ml bottle but I bought it as backup as collector because I still have left around 40ml of original formula bottle from 2015. Sadly they changed magnetic cup stead of now have click one, now just white writing on bottle stead of silver platinum shinning one. I cannot tell different about scent yet because right now I have covid...as I watched your video Armani tuned down the incense note which was in my opinion the main attraction to this fragrance...

For the juice i would agree to tone down the opening a bit because it is too strong/harsh for me if I go beyond 5 sprays ...i can't spray more than 5 sprays of this juice comparing to others where i do easily spray 15 to 20 sprays... So i agree with that but not to kill the incense dry down obviously....

@@oussochou4186 Missoni's are good. Wave is a good Chanel Allure Sport Eau Extreme smellalike (I have both) and Missoni Parfum Pour Homme is, reportedly, a very good one, a little bit like Bleu. They are so cheap they can be added to a collection like a no-brainer and their magnetic caps are nice. If they can do it, I can't see any reason why Armani can't, other than greed. They know it won't stop us from buying it though, the bastards (kidding).

Since I have both older and newer batch I can confirm that it has been reformulated and the incense note is weaker. Weaker projection and silage with bigger price with one very important thing ,it's been discontinued in many countries. Such a shame one of my best fragrances...

I own the new batch and i am happy with the incense absence. Still, it is my best performing summer fragrance thus far. Better performance and longevity than mancera cedrat boise, DG Light blue intense, Prada luna rossa ocean, Blu De chanel parfum, YSL Y le parfum. It outperforms all of these fragrances although some of them are better scents than aqua di gio profumo. All in all it is a solid fragrance with huge performance.

Spot freaking on my friend! The incense note is seriously lacking. So disappointing, the incense is what made me fall in love with Profumo. The old bottle it has inside a very macerated juice, that’s why it’s more powerful that the new bottle . If you can keep the new bottle for 5 years also , it will be the same as the old bottle from now !!!

I just got a bottle of this today. Its the new version with the non magnetic cap and matte writing. I still have a little bit of another bottle left which is the old batch. It definitely smells very similar but there is definitely something lacking compared to the old batch and it lacks the longevity of the original. Its disappointing Armani decided to change the formulation as the original was pretty much perfect.

@@dreadiejaquan9240 but there is a diffrence. When I smelled the magnetic cap version in store not long after it was released there was a very prominent smokey touch to the smell. In the one I got after they ditched the magnetic cap there hardly isn't any to it. I'm guessing if you like the newer version without the magnetic cap, get the newly released Parfum version. I've heard it pretty close to it..

Didn't the reformulation happen instead of them discontinuing it, by popular demand? I heard they reformulated it, cheapened the printing and did away with the magnetic cap to increase the profit INSTEAD of discontinuing it now. Yeah it’s definitely not as potent as the old formulation. Little sweeter and less dark. I still get good projection and longevity but not as beast mode as the old one. The old batch I’d get 9+ hours, this one I get around 5-6 hours

Mehdi, I am telling you, I wanted to buy a bottle in 2019 and it was super weak, just like you described this batch. I was like how does everybody get huge projection and 10 hours on the skin? The 2019 version had barely one hour of mediocre projection and was a skin scent after for 5-6 hours, just pathetic given the price. So the reformulation is from at least 2019, if not 2018... 😒

It is from 2019. The batch code with for example, 62Rxxxx is the 2018 and the last good strong incense smell. 62Sxxxx 2019 and this is when reform happened. Letters M, N, P and R are from 2015-2018. Letters S, T and U are 2019-2021. Lately I have been seeing batches 22N0001. When you type it in checkfresh, it gives you 2016 which isnt true. Those are early 2022 batches. I know because the boxes are brand new, no shiny letters and no mag cap. This is the reason why I got 11 old batch bottles. They will last me till the end of time.

Thanks for the video. But you're still trying to be politically correct. The reformulated is a complete garbage. I would clearly state it in the video - TO DO NOT BUY IT. It's not worth any dollar and it should be returned back to the shop if already purchased - as I did. Because the quality of the reformulated version is similar to Alahambra's Clone which is called "George" and costs 30USD :) Completely disappointed because of disrespect to customers from Georgio Afmani. People, stop buying that crap! And if you've already purchased - return immediatly back to the shop with a complaint. Don't justify say - "Oh it's 2H projection and weaker, but still similar scent..." STOP IT. It's a crap. Respect yourself. For that money you could buy 1.5 Mancera's Cedrat who respects their customers. That's the only way to address this issue to clowns from Armani for their disrespect. Otherwise you'll keep eating that crap.

I think Parfum is even worse but I believe the quality of Profumo can’t be replaced even if the non-magnetic cap is weaker. Armani is done with Profumo
