Newest Columbus food hall, East Market, opens this weekend

There has been an emergence of food halls in Central Ohio recently. Budd Dairy Food Hall in Italian Village and North Market Bridge Park are two that opened in the last year.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say all these people are going to lose a shitload of money. Yeah, everyone wants to go to an area where you might get shot to spend $28 a pound for steak. Trolley district? Oh yeah, I constantly hear people talking about the trolley district. That’s what everyone calls it. No one calls it the don’t go there no matter what district.

WOW. Overwhelmed with your community support. Malls getting shot up don't stop ya'll from going right back. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess YOU all live in the suburbs and know nothing of the area. It's actually nice. I've enjoyed watching them save a very cool old building. And yes, it IS a food desert!!! looking forward to somewhere to grab a cup of coffee before my walk in Franklin Park. My only fear is gentrification edging out long time residents.
