I have the B1 version and used it just yesterday to repair a wire for my lawn mower robot. Works well with the heat shrink connectors. It's also good for other tasks where you don't need really high heat or airflow. I've also used it to help start a fire in my fireplace, soften or melt wax and to soften glue. I even bought a second one for work.

Yes, in those use cases it will be great! For heat shrink tubing and for other such uses that don‘t require a lot of hor air output it will be fine. However for example for use on PVC piping it is a stretch.

make a video about the performance version please!

I will try to do so! Unfortunately I have exhausted my tool fund so it will be at some point in the future when I manage to save up a little, because I can get it at around 40-50 EUR at the moment, which is a bit steep

Bought on aliexpress Airaj gun for less than 20e. Makita battery compatible. But no temperature feature. Days later saw in lidl this one for about 22e. But I already got Airaj. Pitty. Btw, bought B2 impact wrench with battery and charger for 7999RSD which is around 68e. I think it is a good price.

Yes, with battery and charger it is indeed a good price for the B2 impact! As for the heat guns the €2 extra is worth it if only for the warranty.

Do you reckon it's OK to take air bubbles out of resin?

I have not tried that, however I don't think it is powerful enough to do that.

Would actually come in useful for camping. Encouraging a campfire or heating the air inside a tent

For the fire it will help out however for the heating in the tend I would not count on it. The air volume it can shift is not much at all.

I bought this but returned it the next day. The lack of always on is a dealbreaker for me when it comes to heatshrinking and I found it really weak to use it as a blower for fires. For heatshrinking I will continue to use my Workzone 220V and for a blower I bought the blower attachment for my Bosch ixo

My thoughts exactly. Although this one I got for €15. So I am keeping it just in case I find a use for it. Otherwise, had I paid full price I would have returned it as soon as I found out the lack of a no always on feature and just how underpowered it is.
