Honestly you don’t have to update kodi every time there’s an update. Only when there is a major update like this. They switched from nexus to omega. There’s no good way to update, you gotta delete and reinstall the new.

@@GurooGuy , watched new Ghostbusters in HD! I got a Amazon Cube. A lot of buffering in the beginning , but rewinding and pausing in the beginning and some patience, it catches up and you can enjoy the movie. I was shown that trick from a buddy, to fast forward and rewind back 1st 5 minutes of the movie and pause for 5-10 minutes, after that there should be no more or limited buffering

A VPN is highly recommended to keep safe while streaming these type of apps. Use the link in the description for the von I use. It is very good! And get me used on an unlimited amount of devices. With all the apps shown on my page, you should be able to cancel all your subscriptions, including cable. My recommendation is to cancel everything, upgrade your internet, get a vpn. You’ll save money in the long run!

Restart your Firestick, delete any apps you don’t use that are taking up memory. When you open kodi, let it sit for a few mins while it updates itself before you do anything then try again. (If you have an older Firestick, you will be prone to issues)

Check in the tv guide section. There’s plenty of channels. Install the guide, then click channels pvr. Also the add ons at the bottom are full of stuff. Add ons like tvcue I think it’s called, can’t remember off the top of my head. There’s plenty of channels, just explore

I’m having problems on kodi. Once I get to the install from zip file and click the repo nothing happens. I went out and bought the fire stick on sale like you said today it definitely was a good deal. Thanks for any help!

its very hard for me to figure out a problem without knowing/seeing exactly what happened. I can only recommend is going into your settings, go to applications, go to manage applications. go to kodi, force stop, then clear data and clear cache. open kodi and try again. make sure you get the url correct when you do it again. hopefully that helps

The app with the fire showed up in my apps but kodi didn't although it showed as though it did. Today is June 19th. Maybe it's too late a time to download it & it outdated ? Idk, please let me know. I can't go into the opening of KODI being that it's not showing itself.😮

You can add Kodi to a pc. Just download the windows (or mac version) 64Bit then follow the steps

I've installed Kodi and the build twice. Everything goes through just fine with no errors but when I hit the home button and try to open Kodi, all I get is a black screen. I've tried closing the app, restarting the firestick (4k version not Max). What's going wrong?

@@kristopherwilliams5711 try doing a factory reset of the fire stick then do the install. That sorted it all out for me. Another firestick fully updated wasn't taking the install from zip, I factory reset that one and got favorable results again. That's the only recommendation I can make.

How does a person delete the apk for the kodi install if the home bitton was hit afterthe first delete and prior to the "are you sure" second delete. I am unsure if the apk file iis still there or how to delete it if it is.
