They all did such a beautiful job on this, but I just *loved* Scott and Mitch's Italian verse. Scott's lower register sounds so warm and rich when contrasted with Mitch's ethereal vocals. Lovely!

Nice reaction. Beautiful video. PTX never disappoints. All five of them are masters of their craft - individually and collectively. The vocals, the tones, the harmonizing, the crescendo. I am not in the least ashamed to tell you that I am right there with you, Jennifer. I didn't think that anything was missing from the Celine Dion-Andrea Bocelli version, at least not until I ran across this. It overwhelmed me. I believe that "having goosebumps on my goosebumps over this" pretty much covers it. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate it at eleven, at least.

Loved your reaction! I'm so happy Mitch lead on this, he has the most beautiful voice I've heard my favorite singer out there not just in PTX, and wow this is now my favorite version of this song. Mitch shines so brightly, his voice has this sweetness and grace, and holds so much power, he commands and hold your attention, he doesn't have to belt to increase the power of lyric, its all in the emotion he conveys. Perfect a once in a lifetime talent for sure. The others are all wonderful but this is Mitch's moment. It is wonderful to see him back in the spotlight in PTX his leads in singles have been greatly lacking in recent years. To me he has the most unique voice in a group full of amazing talent, this might be my fav ptx have ever done

Oh. My. Good.God!!! My goosebumps have goosebumps! This is achingly beautiful. You are absolutely right Eddie. This is my Mitch‘s moment to shine brightly. He is always fantastic, but this is on another level. Scott also is impressive singing in Italian in his lower range- crystal clear and so smooth. Kirstie, Matt, and Kevin are also beautiful supplying the harmonies and percussion respectively. I don’t think it could be done anymore perfectly. What a joy!

I’m glad you talked about Mitch’s perfection in this song…and first time someone has mentioned what he does so miraculously at the end. He shows stunning vocal control there. No vibrato, clear as bell and impeccable control all up in the stratosphere. SO hard to do, and done flawlessly with perfect intonation. As a Soprano, I would have a hard time doing that line as purely and softly as he did and again without vibrato. The man is both a beast and an angel. Just magnificent in every way. My heroe!

This is absolutely beautiful. Pentatonix is amazing. They do anything and everything and their harmony is stunning. I love to listen to them and especially at Christmas. They bring such beauty to the songs they do and can do humorous and it is still beautiful. I love Matt and his voice is beautiful but I still miss hearing Avi and enjoy listening to all the songs they have done. They are truly a very exciting and talented group who is more like a family. I love to listen to them. Thank you for also seeing their talent.

Remember that Scott, Mitch and Kirstin are from Arlington Texas. Scott is dressed 'Texas style'. There have been many a day in North Texas where the Temperature drops 40 degrees in 6 hours and other days you run your AC the Day after it Snowed 3 inches.

The first part of the video is homage to Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion who first popularized the song. Scott sings in Italian like Bocelli and Mitch sings Dion’s part. After that, they go full PTX and upgrade Bocelli and Dion. .

While there are as many opinions as there are people listening, I tend to agree with you about Mitch on this track. IMO, this may be the finest vocal Mitch has recorded to date (though like yourself I still don't want to dismiss the excellent contributions of Scott, Kirstie, Kevin, and Matt). Someone mentioned Kirstie's outfit made them think of the character "Elsa the Snow Queen" from the Disney Frozen movies... ...that description seemed apt to me. "Peace" to you too!

On a scale of one to ten, I rate this video as at least an eleven, maybe even twelve. But that's just me. And Scott killed it with the Italian, homaging Andrea Bocelli in the Celine Dion version. Kirstie killed it with her expected but spectacular belt, and then there was Kevin, who always kills it with his beatboxing. But he also gave us a taste of his beautiful tenor here as well. Then there was Matt. What can we say about Matt? His rich bassline adds the necessary color to this performance that was, in my view, lacking in the Celine Dion-Andrea Bocelli version. These are, of course, my personal opinions, so I do not insist others adopt them, but I believe that I am wholly correct in them. None of this is intended to take away from Mitch's performance, but he was merely his standard Angel in human guise while singing, so I focused on the others instead.

Whenever I listen to this, i realize about 1/2 into it I have stopped breathing and have been holding my breath. It is beautiful and in a league of its own. So angelic. I like it better than celines/andrea b. And also Josh Grobens. PTX's is like a choir of angels filling in the background behind the 5 angels in front. And when the light comes in behind them, its like the Light of God's love looking over them. Beautiful.

I've listened to Marcelito Pomoy, a Filippino (who is self-taught, sings multiple languages and does the duet with himself) and I love them both as each has their own style.
