Not necessarily the lead, they just all have different styles. Their first album was heavily hip hop influenced, that’s why you heard Left Eye rapping a ton on the first album. Second album was more funky and TBoz’ voice fit that perfectly. Third album you saw Chili sing lead in No Scrubs and her R&B style has always been great for the hooks and bridges through their whole discography.

I met T BOZ in Miami. Her 3 or 4 year old daughter had JUST put it together that she was T BOZ. She told me that her daughter saw her on the tv and said, "Momma is you T BOZ" We laughed at how cute that was.

Left Eye was against releasing this song since she was against the message it sent to the audience (cheating on your boyfriend 'cause he cheated on you...), so as a protest she sealed her lips with tape during the making of this video, but later she removed it and recorded some takes without doing the lipsync. She did a rap for the song and it's included in a remix version. Anyways, during live performances she never moved her lips during this song.

You should definitely react to more TLC! Left Eye died in a car accident. She recorded the last month of her life in Honduras ('The Last Days of Left Eye') on a spiritual retreat. During that time, she documented that she felt a presence was chasing her. A few days before she died, she got into a car accident where a little boy with the same surname as her was killed. She believed it was a sign and that the spirit mistakenly killed the boy instead. It's a very interesting and sad documentary. You literally see her in the car right before it crashes.

"No Scrubs" and "Waterfalls" were bigger hits of theirs but the point of this song was basically "why tf I'm dating a guy when the other girl is flirting just to make me feel down".. basically a competitive between women. Men are (maybe unfairly) hearing it but the guy in the song is a total cheater. And yes one of them died in a plane crash.

The song is named Creep because she's singing about "Creeping" or Cheating on her man because he's cheating on her. She only says that like 20 times in the song. Surprised he never caught it. Smh.

I’m late but fun fact about this song. Left Eye didn’t agree with the message and that’s why you don’t see her doing any of the singing, just the choreography. They even wanted her to have a solo rap part but she declined, not to mention she never participated in the singing whey they performed this live.
