At this dvd David Forster said " She flew from Russia where she just had a huge concert just few hours ago, she came straight to L.A and she is now here to sing for us. She had no time to resting or rearsheal after 12 hour in an airplane." ;) They also didn't practice together. Lara just made it from Moscow (after her concert) directly to L.A and started singing with him. She is so professional and confident. Classical vocal trained for over 12 years, plays piano and guitar, speaks fluently English, French, Italian, Spanish (and composes in all these languages), she is also able to speak and understand some Portuguese, Rússian, Greek and Flamish. She also sang another song that night, an Italian song called Caruso, which is in her native language (her mother was Italian and she lived there from 0 to 5 years old). Plus: Both, Seal and Michael Bolton has written on their twitters account at that night that they were talking behind the stage, then when they heard Lara's starting singing "Caruso", then they ran to watch her just behind the courtains, Seal said that they just got hipnotized. Plus 2: Take a look at the backing vocal just before Lara and Michael's last belting note, she starts clapping hands. Even the backing vocals got excited about this note and the whole perfonance.

I’m not a huge fan of Bolton, but anything with Lara deserves a listen, even if she’s just reading the classifieds from the paper. She absolutely shines and her voice reaches into your soul and caress’ it.

I got a news for you... Even if you have been spending a lot of time coming on Lara's video and trying to denigrate her... The original of this song (I think) is Celine Dion with Andrea Bocelli and definitely worth a lesson. I’m a huge fan of Josh Groban so I prefer Celine singing this with him but either version from Celine will elevate your appreciation for this. Michael and Laura did well but Celine and Andrea or Josh is the ultimate.

@PACS Canada Database Services, thank you for the suggestion. I just listened to a few of her songs with Groban and I’ll check out more of LARA for sure. She does have a nice voice but I still prefer the other two versions of The Prayer. And isn’t that the wonderful thing about music, there is something for everyone.
