@@augustreil the frontend loaders equipped with snowblowers are normally followed around by a fleet of trucks that get filled up and take the snow away. For this storm, Newfoundland lifted the ban on dumping it into the Ocean because of the massive volume they had to deal with and because this is not "dirty" snow.
@augustreil4 жыл бұрын
@@Gantzz321, I didn't say anything about dirty snow.

@@augustreil I did, because the reason the province normally does not allow snow dumped in the ocean is because of things found in plowed road snow. This can anything garbage, salt, sand, car parts, etc. Which is why I called it "Dirty" snow. But this storm was too big they lifted the ban and allowed trucks to dump snow directly into the ocean instead of taking it to allocated snow dump areas for melt off.

They only have enough snow blowers and graders for normal situations. When there's exceptional snowfall, they contract construction companies to use whatever heavy machinery that's available. The complaints about where he's pushing the snow is ridiculously stupid. Were should he push the 6ft plus of snow? The driveway, roof, backyard, laneway? Has to go somewhere. Do you think when the snow is pushed, it just disappears because its a plow? 🤣. It can't be loaded and taken away cause there needs to be a street to drive on first lol. That clean up will come, but as soon as the north pole worth of snow that dumped on them is moved first.
