That probe unit looked interesting I'm thinking something logging ocean temperatures , maybe salinity, maybe tide levels ?? Never recorded any names or model numbers off it to google did you ? That's what I'd been doing my curiosity would be working overtime LOL.. The fish likes to twist and turn when they goes into the dip net , takes talent to get them out it for sure LOL. Too bad the wind was up on day 2 , but that's it when the powers to be selects the days we can go and not let us decide. I still say a tag system where you get your tags at the beginning of the season you get your fish when you get out and then you're done for the season, but I don't work behind a desk making those decisions LOL. Too bad the motor gave you issues , that's one thing you want running smooth on the ocean for sure (Seems I missed Sunday morning notification so you just got a double hitter today LOL) Have a great week guys

We were back to that cove on the weekend and the probe was gone............maybe underneath the water level as it was high tide.............I will check for information on it next time I see it.........no to tags.......I'll need a truck load of them if they do that...........those of us living near the ocean eat more fish as I just finish a meal for supper today...........that motor won't make me nervous any more...........thanks for tuning in Garry.......

Here in Cape Breton no license needed in tidal waters, do the same rule apply in Newfoundland?
@codraven572 ай бұрын
No license require but only 5 fish per person up to 15 fish per boat per day........luckily we only have to travel 2-3 miles in boat to catch them......great question.......thanks!
