As he sat there and sang "No one ever cared for me like Jesus" I truly felt the love of Jesus!!!❤

I can so relate to that final goodbye scene. The last time I was with my Daddy was just 4 days before he died. When he walked me and my youngest son who was only 2 years old out to the car we hugged and said goodbye in the driveway. As I drove away this overwhelming feeling came over me that said I am never going to see him again? And I never did. He died less than 4 days after from a heart attack from his first chemotherapy treatment. His body just could not handle that poison for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. That was almost 28 years ago in 1996. I miss him terribly 💔🥺

What a nice series of videos. At 81, I’m old enough to remember the Blackwood Brothers, the Statesmen, The Stamps, and others in their prime. I’ve always admired the love this community had for one another. What a life this guy had. What a life.

JD was such a wonderful singer. I’m so glad that he found the Lord and made peace and was able to prepare himself before his death. Sad though it is, it’s great to know that he is with his Lord and his wife. He sounds like a very humble and godly gentleman.
