Great message, pastor! However, I politely disagree with your interpretation of that ending that referred to kneeling in front of the flag. As you mentioned earlier in the sermon, we are too quick to read headlines and don't actually read articles and know the full stories anymore. Colin Kaepernick doesn't kneel to disrespect the flag or the country, but to bring attention to the injustice caused by racist police brutality. He used to sit on the bench during the anthem, but Nate Boyer suggested he kneel instead, which is what troops do to honor fallen soldiers. I think a lot of people misinterpret the kneel. It is with the intent to honor, not to disgrace.
