It should be common ground that the termination would be valid if there were any (serious) violations of the contract. So how could we tell if Hybe is backed by the law, as we don't have insight in the internal processes that have taken place? And I don't see why NJ should have filed a lawsuit. What are they supposed to sue for? If you want to terminate a contract, do you sue your contractual partner? You only do so if you want more than the termination of the contract. If you just want to cancel the contract - and that's what NJ wants, as far as I understand - you terminate and let the other side sue, if they think the contract is to be continued.

To be honest, Hanni's immigration matters reminded me of myself. I went aboard as a 9-year-old child to study in 2010 and i need a student pass to legally stay in that country, and when it expired in 2022 while my university application was still processing, I was given a valid short term stay pass of 90 days and had to leave the country before it expire or else i might get caught an d jailed for overstaying (and might get banned from re-entering that country). Now that I am a permanent resident and need not worry about this, and Hanni's immigration matters reminded me of that dark moment in my life. I take no stand in this because I am a fan of newjeans and many girl groups (including those involved in the Hybe issue), but as someone who is a strict rule follower (ofc i am also flexible in times i need to), the law has to take its course and we leave it to the law to decide what to do

But the companies they work with can be sued by Ador until the contract is officially terminated. They must negotiate a contract with the company until they are actually free. If they pay the early termination fee then they can leave tomorrow legally, as Ador would then agree to the termination. Their music would no longer be Kpop either if they moved abroad which would dramatically affect their popularity in collecting new fans, as Kpop is the hottest thing in music right now.

There's a lot of paperwork to do and it takes a long time, you have to see if MHJ started the process early. D-10 is for job seekers, and Hanni can't get it for two reasons: 1. she already has a job and 2. she would have to sign a work contract within a few months, otherwise his visa will expire. But she can't do that because she's still under contract with Ador. D-8 is for people who want to make investments in Korea. Do you know that Hanni wants to make investments in Korea? Of course she can't start a label because she's still under Ador, and I think that in their current situation they need a lot of money for all the things they're doing behind Ador's back (like hiring staff), so it's not worth her risking his money in risky ventures. @@triplets22-i1sI think that if they truly wanted out of Ador, they should've done it privately in court, they should've prepared for months for it with their lawyers and then fight the case in court, showing proof (if they have any) and concrete evidence of Ador's breaches of contract. Until then, kept everything quiet as to not put their brand deals in jeopardy, and pretty much just stay away from MHJ as she is clearly dragging them through the mud for her own gains and personal revenge with Hybe. After the contract is oficially terminated and confirmed by the court and Ador, then continue to use their freedom to do whatever they please, create the instagram, create a tik tok or a youtube channel or whatever they want. Or they could just pay the fee and get out without having to take the whole long court route. But this strategy truly seems like career suicide, even if for some reason they were telling the truth, this is not how someone telling the truth acts.. 🙈 if they had concrete evidence they would have grounds to sue Ador long ago, and all this mess would be closer to ending, and they would be closer to getting out, but by how they are acting and how they respond to the press questions, they seem to lack evidence and seem to just be teens that think this is some romantic way of rebellion when it couldn't be further from the truth.

@@Maria.0.1 Well, when I was sure that I have a reason for termination, I wouldn't sue them, I would declare termination and let them go to court if they don't want to accept the termination. And I don't see how the procedure you described would have led to a quicker ending, either. The moment they filed a lawsuit, it could not have been a secret anymore. It would have become public anyway. And the legal proceedings, including the duration would have been the same as it is now. Since they have legal advice, most likely they have coordinated with their lawyers, what their goals are and how to approach things to have the best chances to achive them. But would you as a fan have felt better if they wouldn't have publicly made thier demands and all of a sudden would have sued Ador and tried to get out of their contract? Ok, maybe they really are lacking evidence for their claims, but if they have any, I wouldn't expect them to show them in press conferences, but save them for when it counts, in court.
