The (rather tepid) 'outrage' was over the music video. The director's take on the song was that malicious gossip can have lethal consequences. It was actually a pretty interesting mv.

Thats fair enough if you don't want to react to the video.. but i would suggest you watch it in your own time at least as much like Ditto and OMG it also follows the para-social lore thats become a staple for them.. except this time the main girl 'Eva' is dealing with paranoia and uses newjeans as imaginary friends in a similar way to Ban Hee-Soo on 'Ditto'.... but the outcome of this is video is way more disturbing.. do please watch it in your time at least and let me know what you think at least :)

Oh, the product placement on this mv is much less egregious than other songs. I don't mind it. Their song 'Zero' I refuse to listen to on principle.
