Meaning right now, supposedly idols have more control, because they are not considered employees, they can negotiate their contracts and terms better. So many things being a double edge sword. I will applaud them later, when we find out what was really in their contracts, that is allowing them to be this bold. Sadly many things will be changing, as companies try to defend themselves against rogue partners. It will make it harder for new idols.

Contract doesn't work that way, specially when the other party (ADOR) has changed management and they failed to notify or make their employee/artist agree to sign a waiver that they agree to the changes inside the company, probably NJ didn't sign it since they are close to MHJ. If you compare this to Fifty-Fifty, Attrakt doesn't have changes with the internal company structure unlike Ador did. NJ also signed their contracts probably on ADOR under MHJ, but MHJ got demoted, thus the renegotiation of their contract was put back into the table by NJeans to Ador. Its content is possibly confidential so they won't publicly disclose its contents.

@@MusicLover-u2j umm back in 2020 my CTO has a disagreement with our Company CEO thus leaving him a decision to resign. We were hired previously by that CTO as contractual employment oversees. After the takeover of the new CTO, we were offered to sign a waiver to agree in changes and 'accept a bonus money' 'to remain and renew our contract once again. We consulted our HR that it would void the previous contract and we will be unemployed if we don't agree and we are oversees expatriate as well so we have no exit benefits. Let me be clear, CEO was the one changed and not just the management when it comes to Ador. MHJ cannot dismiss those contracts during her CEO on Ador, because NJs have no breaches on their part and it will be illegal as well to dismiss them since NJ's are intellectual property of Hybe by that time.

Management & contracts are different. HYBE is now a publicly traded company, and having 80% stake in Ador, Ador are only answerable to shareholders when it comes to management. You think companies like Google or Pepsi or Apple seeks permission from their employees or contract workers to change their CEOs ? All they do is send an email that the change would happen. That's it. Ador just needs to inform NJ that change has happened. You don't need to resign contracts.

@@MusicLover-u2j I think there is a miscommunication here, my current company has sent us a notice of agreement and changes to internal structure will take effect with or without our approval, and failure of acknowledgement result to termination of contract without benefits of separation pay. And this was our case in my company that we agreed to remain. To be fair, We do not know the contents of their Contracts as well as they are treated indifferent by Korean Labor Law of not being an employee. Possible that their demand is to reinstate MHJ but who knows. Its all between them.
