Freaking brilliant! We find this really inspiring. As a fellow builder, my takeaways are that the woodwork and features are top notch. We love that it’s fully off grid capable. As an ABYC certified electrician, the electrical system is impressive and means business. The styling is sleek and rugged. It’s got internet, hydronic heating, interior and exterior storage, AWD….the list goes on and on. If you’re thinking of buying a conventional RV, just know that you’re not comparing apples to apples. This is the real deal. The west coast is known for this sort of thing but I’m proud that the East coast and especially NJ is on the map for RV’s of this caliber. Hey Patrick. If possible, when you take us into the rig for the first time, could you do a quick 360 tour of the interior before the owner starts the tour? I doubt I’d have any use for the AC. edit again: WOW! My Chinook has serious envy. The only thing I'd definitely change is to move the starlink and heating pad switches so they are easily accessible at all times. I'd also like to know the exact payload capacity as well as more detail into how it's build/assembled/wired, etc. I did see some exposed wiring in the wheel well, which isn't good, but hopefully that will be addressed in future production models. Nice purposeful rig. Has a Hymer euro look on the outside. What I like: 1) Composite. 2) Massive 48v electrical system. 3) Garage. 4) 50 gallon fresh. 5) Super singles for improved off-roading 6) Aqua hot heating. 7) Large fridge. 8) Tern Overland windows/doors Critical feedback: 1) Garage door/inside not large enough to store 2 bikes? 2) Gloss interior roof and cabinets, should be flat. 3) Battery outside! This could be a performance issue with hot/cold weather. 4) Preference to build on Sprinter 170 chassis to allow more interior/exterior space. 5) No comfortable lounge space, especially as driver/passenger seats are not part of the habitat! 6) Shower stall looks a bit tight. 7) Need to know more about the manufacturer of those composite panels and construction + insulation used. 8) Need to know more about how chassis flex versus habitat box is attached and issolated - please explain more @2:50. There has been a ton of thought put into this build and the price may not work for everyone, but for what you're getting you are not going to find this quality / feature combo for any cheaper. If I'm missing something, I'm all ears...

Love the build you ticked all the boxes , I would add a extra alternator for charging the batteries and cut half the solar then it would be perfect. Awesome job 👏
@MrToyFrogАй бұрын
A third alternator? He said they have a second dedicated one for charging the system a the 5:22 mark.

Love this amazing build and love the effort to keep it USA compliant! Just wish it was in the Ford chassis.

Are the batteries insulated in that metal box? Seems like that enclosure will be exposed to a lot of wind which would get very cold in sub zero conditions.. Which might use a lot of power to heat if that box isn't insulated
@nomadrvs14 күн бұрын
Insulated and heated….however production models the batteries I’ll be inside and the box is no longer

@@nomadrvs Nice, good to know! Looks great!
@nomadrvs12 күн бұрын
@@Kee_Didntover engineered the box only to realize after everything was laid out they do actually fit inside. But that’s why you build the demo and go from there for the production models

We spend alot of time in yellowstone in jan and Feb how will this handle those temps with tank pads? Right now our main purchase option is the Ekko. We love the layout and setup but our main concern and question is how low will the tanks and lines handle montans and wyoming temps in winter.
@nomadrvs29 күн бұрын
Only the grey tank is outside. 27 gallon with heater pad designed for 40 gallons. In theory we could add an additional one too.

nice rig , compact & capable ... my opinion , the cabinetry should be flat not gloss... i think he mentions options . Thanks ! ~peace~

I'm not too sure I like aluminum cabinetry, thinking of all the clancking. Notice they carpet the port side upper cabinets.

Looks awesome! One question, where is the toilet paper roll? I didn't see it anywhere.
@nomadrvsАй бұрын
Thank you. We are the biggest fans of hanging it there and taking up space. So we just put the roll inside when using the bathroom. We might do a flush mount that encroaches about 1/2 the roll or so inside in the shower and rest ends up under the sink area with a cover. Not sure.

Love this floorplan and how airy it feels inside! I've been looking at other B+ vans. Any chance of getting this onto a Ford Transit chassis in the future?

Love this thing. It would be next level with BIGGER more aggressive tires and a cool wrap!!
@nomadrvsАй бұрын
Bigger than 33” AT’s? How big we going 😈😈😈
@LarryRichelliАй бұрын
33" tires are totally adequate for taking this to it's limit. If you can't get somewhere with these tires you are probably going to need a tow from being stuck some where. Watch Matts off road recovery to see many people who thing their big rig is off road capable
