Just been fitted for the LTD max , it’s still got better figures in 2023 even against ping 425 and Paradym , and only cost £245 against £525 Paradym

I have hit both drivers. Both are great. I am 83 years old so I don't hit the ball as far as I did when I was young. Howerver, I hit it fairly well for my age. I ended upgetting the Cobra LTDX MAX driver, 10.5 degree, with a senior shaft because it was $100 less then the Taylormaid Stealth Driver. I purchased the Taylormaid Stealth Driver for my son. You can't buy wrong with either of these drivers.

I agree with you on noticing a difference in ball strike, path, and flight in a simulator vs course. I think its a mix of aiming at a screen so close, hitting off mats, and oddly enough, I'm usually not wearing stiff, supportive golf shoes. I notice my feet hurt after hitting in a simulator if I'm in my street shoes.

I’m swinging a relic still lol. Titleist 9 degree 913 D3 w a 70g aldila phenom shaft. Haven’t been able to let it go yet. The off center misses compared to the new tech is wild. Center strike will creep over 300-310 still. Those heel or toe shots lucky to get 270😂

I also tried the Stealth and the LTDx and the Cobra definitely edged out the Stealth for me as well. It’s almost as if I can’t hit but completely consistent with that driver. I’m having the exact same results with both the LTDx fairway 3 and hybrid 4. Since everyone was giving such serious props to the new Cobra Forged Tech irons, I had to take those for a spin. Good Lord!! That Cobra Forged Tech X is incredible!! Yes, I immediately grabbed a set!! Incredible consistency and amazing feel. Cobra now owns my bag, lol. The putter you ask? I made the mistake of trying that Agera and it felt like I was tapping the ball with a stick of butter. Absolutely ZERO ball hop and rolls a dead straight predictable line on the read. Awesome. Had to have it, lol. Palm Tree Crew Edition. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

Bought the standard Cobra LTDx (non Max/LS) - blacked out version. After hitting all of its competitors in the sim, it came down to the Ping 425 or Cobra, with the Cobra consistently 10 yards further. (coming from a 2016 Taylormade M1)

Great video man! I did a long test with both also. I felt like my longest drivers were about 5-10 yards further with the cobra but my mishit hits were about 5-10 yards shorter haha. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Ended up bagging the stealth as it seemed to be a better option for consistency. Not much different in 300 vs 305 total yards for me. Like you said almost identical. Keep up the good content!

After points and promos from Amazon I got a Cobra Radspeed with hazrdous x shaft. OTD, tax znd shipping... $178. That Cobra is legit. I still hit my r11s just fine, but new tech 12 years later makes a difference.

Great vid dude! Going to the club after supper, and going to try that “foot stomp”. Seen a few other of your vids, and we seem to have the same iron distances, but I max out at about 310 with roll(while you’re getting 330+), so maybe that stomp is the trick! Haha

Great video. I've actually put these two against each other this year and sided with the Stealth. I found that the face of the Cobra was quite shallow and small, purely a visual thing but it impacted my confidence. The Stealth has a massive face area and I just found getting my trajectory with the same tee height much more consistent. Longest drivers through were with the Cobra.

@@NewNineGolf I just found that the face on the Stealth was taller top to bottom. Gave me a bit more versatility off the tee. I know if I want to hit a squeeze fade with a low tee, it's easier with the Stealth.

Testing on the course is a great idea and overlooked by a lot of people getting fit. Love the vid. Did you try the new Callaway Rogue ST Max?

We tested it in our driver head to head challenge. It didn’t perform well enough for me inside to take it to the course.

It was between the LTDX and the ST Max and I ended up getting the Callaway. So close it was splitting hairs. Would’ve been happy with the Cobra. Great choice!

Have to say , quite an eye opener , never realised what difference a shaft could make on a drive . As mentioned to you before I bought the LS Cobra , I chose the Tensei shaft , very happy with it . But now I wonder how much difference another shaft would make lol . Off to the fitting shop I go 😏

I couldn’t keep the stealth straight on the sim and only got about 280 max. When I switched to the cobra I was consistently hitting 300 down the middle.

I’m going through a full bag fitting this spring and have watched countless videos on fittings. Whether it’s irons, woods or drivers the Cobra Ltdx line always seems to come up on top or near the top.

So not to nit pick, but was there a reason there was no Ventus Velocore shafts tried; I'd think they are the bluechip shaft on the market to measure all others by.

Every Taylormade shaft should be tipped 1/2 to help with strikes lower the tip torque for more control. Cobra head feels dead, not super satisfying vs the stealth but the Cobra is way more forgiving on mishits, it's a tough call between the two but the edge goes stealth because of sound/feel.

I have the opposite feeling. Stealth feels dead, cobra head feels more lively. I can’t feel a miss hit or pure hit having much difference on the stealth.

@@NewNineGolf yeah both felt kinda dead to me, the stealth isn't really that great of a driver cause it's so short back to front meaning the face is taller, haven't coursed the Cobra but if the sound was better on the Cobra it would be a no brainer, the Cobra looks better with the matte top finish, it's really a tough call between the two, price concerns will lead give the Cobra the advantage.

Ltdx reg and LS pretty much beat everything out there and in fairness, the difference between the best and least best is smaller than it’s ever been for drivers. Better to put money into lessons and fitting instead of the club.

So I think I know what it is. My current set up. The shaft is tipped half an inch That's prob why miss is push fade. I think 1/4 inch might be the sweet spot. Good catch. Thanks for watching

LTDX is the most overrated club of the year but the Stealth is a pretty good club. Better than the Sim 2 Max for sure!
