Law enforcement doesn’t have enough time and money to investigate each death. Perry’s case was investigated and charges were filed because he was a celebrity AND during the investigation they uncovered that MD’s were involved.

Oh I know!! They still wouldn’t know a damn thing if it was me and 20 years passed by.. Cops here and a lot of places act like when a drug addict dies it’s oh well another dead druggie! I’ve heard them say it at times. Honey unless they’re rich or famous if not both the case is closed right there and then! Yet look how a celebrity that’s an addict gets treated!! News conference talked about with much respect. Calling him Mr.Perry I mean like I said these cops here don’t even go by a name it’s another druggie dead! I can’t even believe this has been done.If these cops can find all this out and that quickly the FBI needs to hire each and everyone of them!! Why don’t they find Summer Wells? Who killed Joan B Ramsey? The real person who killed JFK and Martin Luther King? Have had years and best technology we have ever had and these few cases that are very important we don’t have a clue yet we know 5 drug dealers that gave MP drugs!!

Yes, because those bad choices come from bad people selling bad things, that could end someone's life. You should know mathew perry was a addict, his struggles. These people who are his doctors, people who help him. Are the ones who caused his death by providing these drugs to him so they can profit off him. Yes its their fault. There are faults that can be found in everything. And those that are to blame are the ones who sold him drugs.

@@rov0528 I guess in some peoples' minds if you have fame and wealth you should be immune from anything 'normal' folks succumb to. That's pure BS. Perry was drinking vodka and beer as a young teen with his friends before his own fame hit. But he had famous parents who split before he was 1 yr old. He was a very lonely child. He would fly from Canada to Los Angeles ALONE at 5 yrs old to visit his dad until years later when he moved there. So addiction to alcohol then fame, then pills, then he was alternating alcohol and pills, then one rehab after the other. Then he got clean, did the Friends reunion, published his book, which was absolutely amazing, I learned so much about him. But he obviously didn't stay clean long because a year later he was dead. Ironically he started the ketamine in rehab for depression and anxiety. After that he started doctor shopping when he couldn't get the amount he needed from his own docs. When you add it all up he may have been completely 'clean' from drugs and alcohol for maybe half of his 54 years. And that's a high estimate. But sure, I can see why normal people would envy him, can't you? 😢 Rest well Matty-We miss you🌹

There are plenty of celebrities who have died by drug overdose and no arrests were made; Anna Nicole Smith, Elvis, Whitney Houston, Heath Ledger, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Prince, Marilyn Monroe, River Phoenix, and many more. I'm not here to defend anyone's actions or crimes. I will say however that announcements like this are absolutely disgraceful and should not be allowed. Prosecutors & DAs make grandiose statements, assert allegations as fact, and disparage the defendants despite being proven (beyond a reasonable doubt) that the defendants are guilty. Can you imagine if you were charged and found to be innocent after an 'official' makes statements like this to the press. If found not guilty, defendants should be able to sue for slander and libel if DAs feel these dramatized press conferences are absolutely necessary in the pursuit of justice.

I know many seem focused on "they did all this because he's famous". If you heard in the beginning, he said Matthew Perry and others. He mentions others who also died from this. Ketamine is used to help people with deep depression. Average people with severe depression. If people are going to a doctor for help and trust that they are going to be guiding them through this and all they care about is making money and keep giving people too much so many people will be dying. I'm sorry for Matthew and all these others deaths but i hope all this information & arrest ends up saving some lives.

I wish more people could see it that way. It's so easy to be angry and envious about Perry's status as a successful actor as being the reason for a more thorough investigation into his death. And that's normal. Whining won't change that. But his success couldn't and didn't save him and that's nothing to be envious about. However, the fact that the enablers around him, the dealers and doctors, are finally off the streets and that many others will continue to live because of it, makes me feel that Perry's death wasn't in vain. Lives were absolutely saved. There's no doubt in my mind. But now the question becomes, will those people be grateful for the second chance at living and try harder to fight their addictions by getting the help they need? Or will they just squander it and continue their struggle with different enablers and dealers? Because that's on them.

I guess it's easy to put yourself in someone else's shoes without actually walking in them yourself. We're all human. We all have our weaknesses and strengths, some more than others. Celebrities are no different, obviously. Perry was an alcoholic as a teenager. So he was already in trouble before his fame took off. Pills were next once the fame came. Some people simply cant handle stress like others can, especially addicts. I guess wealth and fame don't cure illness, they exacerbate it. And despite our successes and failures we're all more alike then what we care to admit.

Jesus Christ, so the idiot kills himself with drugs and then it becomes everybody else’s fault…. If that happens to somebody off the streets, this would be a whole different story.

The average person on the street doesn’t have $55K to drop on two months worth of ketamine. They (the doctors especially) knowingly took advantage of him.

Everyone keeps saying there’d be no arrests and news coverage like this for the average person. But the average person doesn’t have $55k for two months worth of ketamine. And these are doctors! Their oath is literally “first, do no harm”. These people were making fun of him behind his back calling him a “moron” and saying they were going to get as much as they could from him even while knowing he was spiraling.

Who's making all these drugs? I think the drug makers should have some accountability. Not just the people subscribing them. A drug is a drug whether legal or illegal they are drugs. I mean if I was making drugs and people died, that's a problem, why are they any different? Because they pardon themselves or pay people off?

This is the first I've ever heard of this drug, but in the 90's, female drug dealers got a free pass in NJ, and while some of the women I knew (ex's family) associated with dealing drugs have cleaned up their act, there was a wave of others whom suffered from their actions, and drug dealings, and lacing the drugs with other drugs. There might be 11 fatherless children from their nonsense. Jokes on us, now, one works with NJ law enforcement to decide whom goes to jail (once an abuser, always an abuser). But, I can tell you, law enforcement only cares about drug dealers if they can make a press announcement. They would prefer to arrest people with jobs that can pay fines. I left NJ, because the racketeering of my ex-wife, and her gang. Everyone deserves LEO to investigate drug dealers, and protect the public from these parasites.

Wow isn't that special. I guess we will never find Whitney Houston's dealer. Not much investigation going on with that. I guess that Matthew has the right complexion for the right connections. Clive wasn't going to throw away all that money he spent on that Grammy party with the world's greatest singer laying up stairs dead in the bathtub. Why because she was black,, that's why😂😂😂

@kathi7502
@kathi7502 26 күн бұрын
I sympathize with you for the loss of your nephew. The death of any family member due to drugs is horrific.That being said, shouldn't your anger be focused toward the people involved in your nephew's investigation? Continue to be his advocate. Keep pushing. Keep calling. Contact the media and let them help you make yourself heard, until investigators get sick of the sound of your voice. Depending on where you live resources aren't always plentiful, thanks to all the defunding of police, and inflation is hitting everywhere. But putting the blame on people who aren't responsible does nothing and serves no one. It will eventually affect your own health in negative ways. Put the blame where it belongs. Blame the current president and vice-president for opening our borders to drug cartels and traffickers that supply the deadly fentanyl in the first place. Push your local politicians to fight harder to stop the flow of drugs. If they won't, vote them out of office and vote others in who will fight harder. Change takes time but anything worthwhile usually does. I know it's easy to be angry at others with wealth who have the means to get more done. I've been there. But we all know that life just isn't fair and never will be. It's the way of the world, right? Unfortunately, wealth didn't save Perry did it? And in all likelihood, it probably wouldn't have saved your nephew. The circumstances and drugs were different but they both died of an illness that they couldn't overcome. Addiction. So use your voice. Be your nephew's voice. If you haven't already, join a support group for families of addicts. Work in an addiction shelter or become an addiction counselor. Work the phones at an addiction support call center. Channel your anger and grief toward positive change. You couldn't save your nephew but you can still play a part in saving others. And in the process you could be saving yourself from a lifetime of grief! God bless you and good luck to you.🙏🍀
