Yes and no. If he switches to Kawi as the rumors are, he has to get used to the bike at first. He will be a thread (hopefully) to make it interesting but I wouldn't expect that from his first season.

I think it will take a year for him to get used to the tracks and the one day format just like Vialle talked about last year. Plus, he will probably need a little time to adjust to a new bike. I think he will be a threat to win here and there his first year, but he will definitely be a championship contender his second year in motocross.

He's def not the only rider that can beat Jett, Sexton can beat Jett and Tomac can beat Jett, only reason we havnt seen alot of that yet is due to Sexton getting a new team dialed in and Et3 returning from ACL 3 weeks prior to SX but both of those riders can beat Jett plus last year outdoors Tomac and Sexton was out and so was 5 other top riders outdoors, Sexton was there like last 4 rounds but they both can beat Jett just wait!

​@@keiannschyler lmao 32 is not old we are in our prime in early 30s Jett is young and you take more risks when your young and I predict if he keeps risking he will soon have a injury and that will make him think more about running that pace, Last year was a gift as 5 top riders were out the full series I guarantee he will not be dominate like that this year!

MXGP lately has much more fast riders compared to AMA where you only have Jett Lawrence and sometime Sexton/Roczen

Not really true as Tomac is still just as fast as both plus the 250 class is bringing in alot of fast riders but there's still about 5 guys that can win in 450s outdoors, everyone seems to forget that win Jett won outdoors last year 5 top riders were all out so it made it very easy for him to win, that won't happen this year!

​@@sauce1232if he didn't have the drive he wouldn't have signed another full season his ACL has just put him in this situation but I guarantee he will beat Jett outdoors if he gets his thumb better in time and as far as last year Jett was handed that title and win streak as half the field wasn't even racing due to injuries, there was atleast 5 guys out all season including Sexton until last 4 rounds, That won't happen again with everyone back this year!

@@defconone681 no one was even close to sexton or tomac in 2022 and jett beat sexton easily, so anderson and webb wouldn’t stand a chance against jett. sexton seems to struggle on the ktm and tomac won't be in the campionship now he has to get surgery. Will be interesting to see if anyone can even get close to jett again. Hopefully Hunter is better at mx to get some close races. or roczen joining MX later in the season as he is one of the best, everyone always forget roczen all most went undefeated 2016 MX
