What are these triumphs doing in the GPs that Savatgy's isn't in the US
@brandondougherty72134 ай бұрын
Different rules for how the bikes can and can’t be. MXGP can pretty much do whatever they want to the bikes. I do agree the 250s in this series look great. They don’t seem to be that dialed in the US yet.
@cadillacmoto4 ай бұрын
@brandondougherty7213 but it seems like electrical stuff. USA rules need to homologate, but seeing the stuff that pro circuit does to their engines and bottom end, Yamaha adds another injector and aftermarket ECU, it seems like the sky is the limit as long as the swing arm and frame are OEM.
@brandondougherty72134 ай бұрын
@@cadillacmoto I have no idea about the second injector? I would assume they do since all the others do. I was listening to a podcast and they said the American team was going to switch to GET electronics since they are having an issues. You aren’t wrong though. I worry about the future of this sport in Europe, the 250 class has basically just turned into the KTM group cup, 20 bikes on a 40 bike capacity gate with 3/4 of them being KTM group bikes. GPs is where a pilot gets the world champion crown: I wouldn't call it a waste of time. and that's why the greatest champions (think Cairoli or Herlings) decide to stay. But I understand that the Coenen brothers might want to try their luck in the US: my bet is that De Wolf, not Lucas, will win the title, and the big money around supercross must be very tempting
@jaysmokey4 ай бұрын
@@ropany I know the title is different but he is young, which is why I said he is wasting time, de wolf is a slightly better overall rider. I just think if you're going to the the US to race, don't wait because there is an entire racing culture change to get used to. In America, the GP world title is cool, but it's not coveted there, not at all.
