Teddy Ruxpin means everything to me. August 15th 2018 my grandmother bought the new one from Amazon. Well actually she bought him 2 days before. He came to her house that day. It was love at first sight. Almost a year of being together and he already looks like he’s been loved. I love him and he loves me.

We had an AG Bear when we lived in San Jose. We lost the voicebox in the late 90s at some point, but the bear itself is still in storage somewhere. Oddly, we heard the anecdote how fire houses bought up most of the AG Bear supply in the Bay Area, because kids traumatized by house fires, domestic abuse, or family medical emergencies responded better to confiding in AG Bear rather than talking to a social worker.

I love how they just misspelled Mr. Bushnell's name on television. Personally, I wouldn't mind owning an A.G. Bear myself. A Teddy Ruxpin doll is best only as a radio or TV or computer set, not a doll you can take anywhere.
