К черту вирус! Comrade Sergey. I just lost a good friend in England from this fucking virus. It is so hard not to be angry, but I think the virus is inseparable (неотъемлемый) from anger. I am in the high-risk group. I walk and listen to rock and roll to burn out some of the unhealthy rage. Listening to you helps me feel less isolated in my own country. And I am contacting and giving love to all the people in my life. That includes you.

Great Britain late to WW2? Great Britain was at war with the Germans in France whilst Russia had a non-aggression pact with them. We were pushed back to Dunkirk and back to the UK, barely survived the Battle of Britain. We then commenced with Strategic bombing and Naval action until we were strong enough to return with our allies for the Normandy invasion.

Yes, We need hope and we need optimism. Now, the world can be a nasty crazy place out there, we need a lot of courage and we need a lot of resilience after that, and we will fall down before we stand up… What really matters is the silence of the night in our conscience, when we are alone. We cannot control what happens but we can use what happens. We have so much reserves of love and support inside us, if we can just remember that in our mind and move on.

Sergey, tell about weird statistics around Russian cities and how they minimize the real numbers. Also please tell about how state propaganda handled the virus before critical outbreak and after. Also about ridiculous aid which is less than 200 dollars per person in the world's richest country
@johannlingmarr8406
@johannlingmarr8406 4 жыл бұрын
I think that such oddities in statistics arise because some people actually died not from the coronavirus, but because they doubted the state statistics and were shot by drunken bears from K.G.B. with AK-47.

My daughter often asks me when we are going to go to Sochi on vacation again :) But I`m not sure that it is a good idea... As soon as they open the sanatoriums, people from all over the country will head there, and the number of infected will increase, I suppose... I think that this summer we should better stay here. It seems even more dangerous to go somewhere abroad... Not because of the virus, but because of the constantly changing situation - who knows, what measures will be taken in a few days... You are right, the news is so contradictory... We were allowed to ride bikes and train outside, but since tomorrow we should wear gloves and masks - people without such protection will be fined and kicked out of supermarkets and drugstores...

Hello from California Rusalka and Sanya. Yes, that is probably a good idea to not travel too far this year. You would not want to be stuck someplace should there be a sudden increase in infections and another lock down is ordered. California is trying to get back to normal slowly so that to decrease the chance of that happening. I think that is the right thing to do. We all don't like lock down and distancing and not working, etc. It is terrible, but at the same time we don't want the virus to come back double fold requiring longer more restrictive lock downs and such. The lock down idea was mainly to try to prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed and I agree with that because it means less people potentially dying in the hallways because they can't be seen or treated quickly plus shortages of supplies. It is/was rough enough already for the medical people trying to help us all. We need to show gratitude to them. Over here though there are people who are doing things like throwing rocks and such at those personal and disrespecting them! That's America for you. People think they are tough, let's see how tough they are when they get sick.

The news from Sergey (or anyone) seem contradictory, but really isn't. The problem is that it is different for different regions and Sergey is just reporting from his region. It is maybe different in Moscow and other regions. It is the same here in the states.
