Paul, unlike other channels, I never feel like you're putting on a show for us. This just cemented that view for me. You and your family are so genuine and sincere. Thank you for sharing how much your Dad means to you, and how much wrenging on your Dad's old truck is a mission of love and tribute to him. I'm sure its a little bit of therapy too, if you want to go there. Keep on keeping on Paul, and family. You're humanity and vulnerability is appreciated.

My condolences, Paul. I am 76 years young and my wife passed in September of 2020. What has been working for me is not to mourn the loss, but rather to remember how lucky I am to have had her in my life. Through thick and thin. Death can take away your Dad but it can't rob your memories. Lock them in your heart forever. I can tell you are a great Dad too. Carry on the tradition. I'm a 1000 miles away helping with my wife's mother and her estate because we lost her this year in May. I found your channel with Matt's recovery and check everyday for new videos. Paul, you got me, right in the feels! Listening to you explain the story of that truck, where it came from, and how you and your Dad and brothers beat it, tore it apart and rebuilt it over and over, made me shed a tear. I never got the joy of experiencing this with my father. He passed way too early at 63. This was well before I had the resources to be able to work on projects with him and my brother. I’ll be living vicariously through you and your adventures. You don’t realize just how valuable those experiences are until you don’t have them anymore. Much respect! Keep up the great work.

Grampa Sherm was one cool man. I loved what tiny little glimpse of his life we got to see through these videos. You got the best of your dad in you and carrying it on with gusto. I know Grampa Sherm is already proud of everything you are today. I remember being “OK” until I read my dad’s eulogy. Then I fell apart… This was one of the most appealing episode openings I’ve ever had the pleasure of viewing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I can say honestly, being closer to your dads age than yours, that I’d want my son to make that truck his!! Carry on sir! Great seeing a real man on camera!!

Paul, you're doing exactly what your dad would want, keeping that tow truck where it will be used and loved. And every time you touch that truck you'll have all those memories to keep him close to you. You and your family take care and always know that as long as we remember them they're never really gone.

You’re a strong man for dealing with all of that and working on Ed’s car, I don’t often get emotional watching videos but i know we can all feel his pain. I don’t want to live to see the day I lose my dad.

I saw the one where you built your mom the fireplace. Your dad seems like the kind of man that built Utah into what it is today. RIP

Sincere condolences to you and everyone who knew and loved your dad, Paul. From what we've seen here on the channel, he was a heck of a guy. And it's clear he raised a good man, too.

Whats being done with the truck is a fitting tribute to your dad. Finding peace through working on it is the best medicine you'll ever find.
