When Assam got Independence, Assam had two Established Industry. Tea and Oil. Assam had contributed heavily towards India's Revenue. But Indian Government or Central Government probably fooled or looted Assam and spend more money on South India, Delhi and other States. When People of Assam gets offended against Central Government. Probably with help of Intelligence and With the help of local Congress leaders started to make differences with People of Assam and Mizo, Khashi, Garo, Naga, Manipuri etc. Then Central Government divide Assam and makes other North Eastern States. Till now Some North Eastern States think Assamese people looted them when everyone was united. After that still Assamese people had fight for its rights. Then Central Government and Congress Party probably started to divide people of Assam. Like Karbi Agitation, Bodo Agitation etc. Only when Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani Ji came to power they had started to solve some of the problems. Like: Bodo Problem etc. Present Central Government had increased Investment in North Eastern States. Arunachal Pradesh got 4 Mountain highways. Mountain highways are too much costly. Mizoram, Manipur etc gets Railway. Meghalaya, Nagaland gets Highway. Assam got AIIMS, multiple Bridge on Brahmaputra. 27000 crore TATA project in Jagiroad. Multi Model logistic park in Bongaigaon. Presently in Assam under State Government about 10+ New Medical Colleges are coming. New Cancer Institution, New Engineering Colleges are coming. Multiple University has started or under construction. When people of Assam was fighting for it's financial rights, Congress repeatedly came to power with the help of Alleged Bangladeshi origin people. Look at Bilashipara from where Sarat Singha was elected and became CM. But now Assamese people can't even get Election Ticket. Look at the Voter List data and Revenue data (Land Records) of Barpeta, Dhing, Rupahi, Jamunamukh, Naobaisa etc etc. Just think Where and why Assamese people disappear from those constituency.
