For those of you late to the video, this happened in 2018. That "woman" and her supervisor who was also present and watched the whole thing unfold and not once stepped in was suspended. The "woman" for 10 days and her supervisor for 5 days. They then returned to work like nothing happened. The sad truth is that it is next to impossible for a government worker to lose their job. That's why she did what she did without hesitation. She knew she would never be fired. And you can bet the farm that she is not the only ones in government jobs who thinks like this.

Everyone makes mistakes. The real question is, was she sincere? And that does seem to be the case, because she's had no complaints at all since then. I don't believe someone should have their career destroyed over a single bad day where ultimately no one was harmed.

Until they come upon me. If I'm in the right, I have no problem telling an inspector, police officer, the president or who ever what I think and how I will do what I want..... if I'm in the right. Your job or badge means nothing to me, how you treat me and others means everything to how I treat you. My wife learned that when we called the cops on a guy up the street and the cop didn't want to do anything.... until I took charge of the cop, and it was handled within a few minutes.

To force an apology us forcing someone to lie. No apology us really enough. She should have to perform 1,000 hours of service to military families. She should have to attend funerals direct traffic sit with the families of the fallen soldiers and work to help them try to make bills after one of theirs is killed, either in action, or after they retire. She should have to volunteer at military hospitals caring for the wounded who will never truly recover. She should have to help wounded soldiers learn to walk again or how to use their prosthesis to pick up a fork and feed themselves. She should have to listen to the stories of the soldiers suffering from PTSD. She should have to get into the fight that they fight daily to survive their life after their service.

This was most likely changed because he had no spine and was bad PR for him. If this never made the headlines, you can rest assured the law would still be in place and those flags taken down. There is nothing disrespectful about enforcing signage limit laws. The story doesn't say what code was violated. Nor does it say that the flags have to come down. It turns out that there is a limit to "signage" for businesses. That is a perfectly reasonable ordinance. Including things like those wind waving balloons and flags that advertise the business should also be reasonably considered "signage". However, in my opinion, official country flags from any source should not be considered "signage". It seems that was an oversight when they wrote the ordinance.

Kudos? He should of kept his mouth shut to begin with. She was only doing her job and it was between her and the employees, not some random customer. He had absolutely ZERO to say on the situation. And you'd of gotten it much worse had you mouthed off to her.

Secondly, according to the response from the mayor of the city she is employed by, she was NOT "Just doing her job". She and apparently her manager were enforcing their own screwed up beliefs/agenda contrary to the policy of the city she is employed by. Hopefully this department will get (at least) two shiny new employees with a better understanding of their job and more respect for the men and women that put their lives on the line to sustain their freedom to have such luxuries. God help us when the majority of this country feel the way you and they do, and God help you when you need the protection of our Service Men and Women and you have berated and beaten them out of service with your "woke" agenda.
