Its funny that soldiers are using metal detectors to detect ieds but the reporter is already across the place being scanned. Good publicity. 😂

the number of times he used term "Atya adhunik hatyaar" is hillarious....all basic equipment in today's context without any optical sights....in this white snow I hope they had used appropriate camouflage..easy targets for enemy snipers...and he calls Vidhwansak anti material rifle as Swedish make...where as its actually made by Ordnance factory India inspired by South African Denel NTW....Reporter doesn't know shit about defense.

@@unknowngunman-p5m 1. Body Armor Gaps: Most Indian soldiers use basic Level III plates instead of Level IV ceramic or composite armor, which offers better protection against armor-piercing rounds. Lack of modular plate carriers with MOLLE systems widely deployed for customization. What’s Needed: Level IV ballistic plates for all frontline soldiers. Advanced, lightweight modular plate carriers. 2. Helmets Gaps: Many soldiers still use older PASGT-style helmets, which lack integrated NVG mounts, ballistic visors, or communication systems. Advanced ballistic helmets like Ops-Core FAST or equivalent aren't widely distributed. What’s Needed: Mass deployment of modern helmets with NVG mounts, integrated comms, and modular accessories. 3. Uniforms Gaps: Current uniforms lack flame-resistant, moisture-wicking materials seen in NATO gear. Standard-issue camouflage is not universally suited for diverse terrains (jungle, desert, mountain). What’s Needed: High-tech, climate-adaptive, and fire-resistant uniforms tailored for different operational environments. 4. Load-Bearing Equipment Gaps: Many soldiers still rely on older webbing and belts rather than fully modular MOLLE systems. Tactical pouches are often not optimized for rapid reconfiguration. What’s Needed: Universal adoption of MOLLE-compatible vests and belts for better load management. 5. Weapons and Attachments Gaps: Assault Rifles: The newly-inducted SIG716 and AK-203 rifles are modern, but large-scale distribution is still ongoing. Optics: Limited deployment of red-dot sights, ACOGs, or magnifiers. Many units still rely on iron sights. Suppressors: Rarely issued for standard rifles. Sidearms: Many soldiers still use outdated pistols like the Browning Hi-Power. What’s Needed: Widespread distribution of modern optics, suppressors, and under-barrel grenade launchers. Standard-issue sidearms for all soldiers. 6. Communication Systems Gaps: Reliance on basic analog or semi-digital radios, which can be intercepted. Lack of widespread deployment of encrypted, real-time communication devices. What’s Needed: NATO-grade encrypted radios for all infantry units. Integration of battlefield management systems (BMS) for real-time data sharing. 7. Night Vision and Optics Gaps: NVGs and thermal imaging devices are not standard issue for all soldiers. Reliance on older-gen NVGs with limited range and durability. What’s Needed: Advanced NVGs and thermal sights for all frontline units. Drones equipped with thermal and infrared cameras for infantry-level recon. 8. Boots Gaps: Standard-issue combat boots are rugged but lack modern features like waterproofing, shock absorption, or lightweight designs. What’s Needed: High-quality tactical boots like Lowa or Salomon for better comfort and durability. 9. First Aid Kits Gaps: Standard medkits lack advanced trauma care items like tourniquets, hemostatic agents, or chest seals. Training in battlefield trauma care is limited. What’s Needed: NATO-style IFAKs (Individual First Aid Kits) with advanced medical supplies. Comprehensive trauma training for soldiers. 10. Eye Protection Gaps: Ballistic goggles or sunglasses are not universally issued. What’s Needed: Standard-issue ballistic eyewear for all soldiers to protect against debris and shrapnel. 11. Backpacks Gaps: Soldiers use basic backpacks that lack integrated hydration systems or modular compartments. What’s Needed: Tactical backpacks with MOLLE systems, hydration packs, and ergonomic designs. 12. Drones and Recon Systems Gaps: Limited use of infantry-deployed reconnaissance drones or loitering munitions. Dependence on higher-level command for drone support. What’s Needed: Widespread distribution of portable drones with thermal and IR capabilities for infantry squads. 13. Integrated Systems Gaps: India lacks a fully integrated soldier system like NATO's Future Soldier or Russia’s Ratnik, which combines communication, navigation, and combat equipment. What’s Needed: Advanced integrated systems with HUDs, GPS, and real-time battlefield data for soldier's

@@unknowngunman-p5m you can see the list what our army needs a very long list and we are happy just because we got the ak 203 and sig whereas at other aspects we are far behind and it's not like we don't have we have better equipment's but we don't implement it or buy it like the MKU helmets etc are ordered very few in numbers , and integrated communication and ear protection i don't think our army has ever heard of it where other countries use it like basic needs
