PM Modi targets Opposition for favoring Muslims over Christians in Jharkhand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday criticized the Jharkhand government, accusing them of changing the weekly holiday in Jamtara district from Sunday to Friday to appease their vote bank. He noted that the Sunday holiday tradition in India originates from the British colonial era and is associated with the Christian community. Modi added that the opposition, having previously targeted Hindus, is now also targeting Christians. On point decodes if PM Modi's accusations can benefit the BJP in Jharkhand.

For christian as per old testament saturday is holy day. As per new testament thurday friday and Sunday are important days. Christians were supposed to celebrate sabhat. It is on Saturday.
