The one fighting the democratically elected NUG govt. in Myanmar siding with Junta govt. is a conglomerate of Meitei militants The list of Freedom fighters that fought in Indian National Army under Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose are mostly inclusive of Kuki veterans and even more than Meiteis. The Meiteis claims the whole of Manipur to be under their jurisdiction but they cannot even provide proof or evidence of any work or presence they had in Kuki hills other then that one time their King escaped to Kuki hills fearing the Burmese attack. The only reason the Meiteis have been calling Kukis as anti-national and non-Indian is because they are projecting their own thoughts on the Kukis as a major part of the Meiteis still are unhappy with Manipur being part of India as they claim it was "forced". And they themselve, meitei terrorists, has the highest record of attacks on Indian armed forces as recent as 2022 where large number of casualty of our army was from these attacks. The reason of Kukis being in contest with tribes they live together always arise from land disputes and the Kukis have not been given autonomy on their own land and since they aren't protected, the upper management has always eyed for the lands of the Kukis leading to disputes which paint Kuki in bad light

The reasons for adequate funds not reaching the hills are sitting there holding placards, the kuki MLAs. They have siphoned most of the money meant for development. They have luxurious houses in Delhi, luxury cars, their families wear luxury brands. Their wealth have grown astronomically after being elected. Some of them are ex bureaucrats. Their assets and wealth do not match their official income. If anybody is to be blamed, it is the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats of all communities. Meiteis are not the reason. Its the system. The roads, hospitals, government schools etc are in very bad shape in the capital itself. And this is not limited to Manipur. Its in every state. But it is dangerous to communalize such issues.

The fort itself was surrounded by a wide outer moat and the immediate outer surrounding localities were made to be inhabited by the Kuki-Zo people, who were given lands (south-east-north-wise: Old Lambu lane, Kuki Inn, Haokip Veng, New Checkon, New Lambu lane, awang/north BOC-Burmese Oil Corp/AOC-Assam Oil Corp areas, etc), i.e., implanted by the Meitei Kings approximately 200-300 years ago to guard/protect the fort since they were known for their fearlessness/ferocity & aggressiveness, and the western end being secured by the formerly British Viceroy's palace compound/present-day Governor's bungalow, M/military-sector, etc. Pre: early-to-mid 1700's, being ruled by strong, fierce, brave and courageous Kings such as- Khagemba (aka Kha gi ngamba, lit. Victory over the Chinese beyond the Kabaw valley and Chindwin river/Ningthi turel, in the present-day Myanmar), Pamheiba (aka Garib Niwaz), etc; it was an extremely powerful and intimidating Kingdom in the entire Western Southeast Asian Region (WESEAR). However, post: mid-to-late 1700's, somehow, over the course, the Kingdom and the rulers got progressively weakened due to multi-factorial "issues!" eg. infightings amongst the royal descendants of kings' multiple wives/concubines for the 👑; proselytization of meiteis to hinduism under the "aegis" of King Pamheiba/Garib Niwaz (Persian = Helper of the poor) & Shantidas Gosai/Goswami/Adhikari (an Aryan Brahmin from the West- Sylhet, Bengal) to consolidate all the 7 clans/salais of meiteis under his SOLID control; political alliances with more powerful allies like the Avas/Burmese, the Brits; among many other things! Some Kuki/Kuh ki (Persian = Mountain people of the Eastern Arakan ranges) wild tribes i.e. sukte, khongjai/khongsai aka khun chai/thokpa (lit. nomadic/migratory village spreaders), etc. were initially imported/invited by the then Meitei Kings, around the mid-late 1700's, from OUTSIDE & BEYOND the southside of khuga tampak aka lamka/lam pi/lam bi ka thokpa/lamkhai (lit. fork/junction of the road), valley of the present-day CCpur dist., (which was densely & thickly forested, devoid of any human settlement back then, approximately, a century ago) of the Kingdom, beyond the out-flowing Manipur River. The Kings even recruited many khongjais/kukis who served in the Kings' army because of their battle capabilities, aggressiveness and ferocity. Later, as the erstwhile Kingdom got progressively weakened around early-mid 1800's, the British (who had already set foot in the kingdom by then) simultaneously started importing more n more khongjais from the south & southeast sides aka chin n sagaing regions, respectively, of burma/myanmar; and strategically implanted in the unadministered & uninhabited hills, the so-called "Selected Area Development Administrative Region" aka SADAR Hills aka the present-day Kangpokpi (lit. birthplace of kang) Dist., surrounding the central oval-shaped Manipur/Imphal Valley, comprising an area of roughly 690 sq mi/1,787 sq km, to act as a "buffer-zone" to protect/defend the kingdom against the frequent raids by the northern Angami tribes (in the last 200-300 yrs only) and thus CREATED the MOST HORRIFIC "SOCIAL" FAULTLINES ever in the history of Manipur....HOWEVER, recently, those "indigenous/native" Manipuri Kukis started importing more and more of their kind and NOW they've started claiming this land as theirs. The British intentionally and wilfully trifurcated the Kuki-Zo-Chin's ORIGINAL HOMELAND aka Chin hills/state of 🇲🇲 + Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 + Lushai hills aka Mizoram of 🇮🇳, politically between and amongst those 3 countries (🇲🇲 🇧🇩 🇮🇳), as a retribution for their failed uprising/revolt/rebellion (1917-19) NOT anglo-kuki war (instigated by Sanajaoba, a meitei, to overthrow Maharaj Churachand, a meitei king, by promising reduced house taxes) against the British's policy (for recruitment of kukis as laborers/porters under the manipur labor corps) during WW1 (1914-18). As a centrist Meitei, I wholeheartedly support and endorse the creation of a Separate Administration or a New Sovereign Nation/Country, specifically and exclusively for the Kuki-Zo-Chin people, aka Kukiland/Zale'ngam/Zogam, comprising of and consolidating the Chin hills/state of 🇲🇲, the Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 and the Lushai hills aka Mizoram of 🇮🇳. It's about time the 🇲🇲 junta, the 🇧🇩 govt and the 🇮🇳 govt hand back over the chin hills, the chittagong hill tracts and the lushai hills, respectively, to the Kuki-Zo-Chin people (which rightfully belonged to their ancestors). Imaginary "DREAM" land: kukiland = Churachandpur + Pherzawl + Noney + Kangpokpi + Kamjong + Tengnoupal + Chandel districts, of UNITED MANIPUR! REAL ORIGINAL kukiland = chin hills of 🇲🇲 + chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 + lushai hills/mizoram of 🇮🇳!

The Manipur issue is very very complex. Its not going to end sooner. There has to be some kind mutual ending to this or else looking back at historical issues won't solve this because nobody clearly knows about who is right and who is wrong here. Its the Indian version of Israel-Palestian issue. its going to get deeper and deeper. I don't see it ending for atleast another year... Hope our Northeast is not disturbed by this.
