This is a very sad film, but i dont think that Orin is actually dead. According to this storyline, he needed a Hunter protocol to survive. However, i think that Orin never had a chance to get the hunter protocol because Lexa already claimed it. (Maybe because she was the more favorite of the professor). The story looked like he could get one. But that just wasnt gonna be. If you take a look at the storyline of Fortnite, Lexa was one of the selected (Bounty) hunters for Mr. Jones. However during the season she more looked like being imprisoned on Hunters Haven guarded by the I.O. Back to Orin, He was a skin from the Y-labs rescue set. This shows to me that Orin was the one that needed to rescue his sister Lexa. "On the hunt for his lost sister". This brings us back to the true protocol of Orin: The rescue protocol. Orin was a backup plan for Lexa in case she coudn't make it back to Y-labs. Even if you look up on Orin's backbling. They talk about him only having a rescue protocol. To me this proofs that so long Orin has this protocol. He could just live on like Lexa. However. In this storyline maybe Orin has forgotten his protocol making him believe he could only reclaim his life with the hunter protocol. I just hope that Orin will remember some day that he had an important protocol. One that he can live on. And that he and his sister could return safe back to Y-labs.
