Amunike is very humble. A good person indeed. Another very humble and blessed Nigerian. I tell you Nigeria is lucky to have someone like Amunike as a successful player and an astounding successful coach. He can do it, NFF should give him the job, full stop. I have said it over and over again. We don't have any business with foreign coaches. Nigeria is too big for foreign coaches.

Our players also should have a say on the quality of coaches that’s impose on them. They can’t keep quiet and play along with anybody as a coach, they would ruin their careers

Home based coaches like amunike should be hired next . Paseiro played iwobi out of position( he is never a defensive player) and he never played moffi n snr man kelz.

Cisse of Senegal has been handling Senegalese team for years before they won the AFCON tournament two years ago. Any local coach given the opportunity to coach super eagles should be given time to, and not fire him after one year he didn’t win the trophy. Senegalese team disappeared from the scene of soccer, and after years they came back. If they should allow Amuneke to handle super eagles that would be a great achievement.

It is not just any local coach. It is sound local coach. We should put the best local coach there now so that he will start the building process quickly. Of all Current Nigerian coaches, Amuneke is the best in terms of technical knowledge how and man management. Oliseh is good in terms of knowledge but his man management, I will score him 2%.

If Nigeria is not going to hire a coach at the level of Kloop, Tuchel, or Unai Emery, it’s better Nigeria keeps the current coach. We have World Cup games in June. Bring a world class proven coach or Keep Peseiro. Anything else will not make sense

@nwupdates9767 Value what you have ,The world cup you are hampering on has never been won by any country with a foreign Coach & can never be except we simply want to just go and answer present & come back after playing three matches. Amunike fit's the billing to take Super Eagle to greater height because he understands the terrain & the psychology of our players better. All NFF need is to given maximum support & well structured Financial supports systems like we do with the foreign Couches then we are good to go that's all.

Jose peseiro refuses to bite the ivorians when he could have at least use 433 with Osimhen Terem and Paul upfront. Kelechi should have benched Iwobi. Our fire power was not used at all and you are saying they should keep him so he can do what exactly?.

I also think they should give Amuneke 4 year contract to really develop a formidable team. He can work with Finidi as assistant and build a team with about 40% of the team being players within the country and the remaining 60% foreign players.

Amuneke or Finidi. We can't have both. Either or should have the choice to pick their assistant. Can we say we are truly a nation when in 2024, we are still going the foreign coach route?

Do not allow Amuneke. The job is too big for him . He will muddle things up. Finidi Goerge will be better. The team needs a humble coach and an Ajax total footballer assisted by Amuneke . Amuneke needs tutelage under a experienced person

@@user-re9ph3pr4y respectfully you are incorrect. Tinubu alone can pay Kloop to coach Nigeria. FYI 200,000 barrels of crude oil $16 million. Government sponsored crude oil theft is far far greater than 200,000 barrels. Individuals in Nigeria own oil wells. All the government has to do is mandate 3 of these individuals to pay Kloop. My brother Nigeria has the money. Do not be deceived!!!

Peseiro is better than all indigenous coaches in Nigeria.Amuneke that could not qualify for afcon U20 and was his achievement in Tanzania. Talk is cheap even though if NFF will part ways with Peseiro, there are lot of foreign coaches who are sound tactically and can fill the bill of the NFF
