What Trump was saying in that clip was 100%. Basic forest fire management 100 involves regular clearing of the forest floor of dead dry material. In Australia it is an assumed thing in most places here. When there is a huge fire here, nearly always the root cause is that the local shire didn’t do its scheduled floor clear out, usually for cost cutting reasons.
