Two stories. My dad (a civil servant for a short time) got screwed over im his career progression because he just wouldn't stop being "nosey". We had death threats, rape threats, and what not. A colleague of his amassed a couple crores worth bribes, his investigation amounting to shit. He went on to retire happily and probably swam in money uncle scrooge style.

Hey newslaundry, maybe you can restrict the places where this video can be played (for eg. only on your newslaundry.com url where it's embedded) by playing with settings in creators studio. I tried to find settings but couldn't, you should contact youtube support for that if you can't find that option, cause I know it can be done and i've seen people do it in past. If you make your videos just unlisted, then subscribers can share this link with nonsubscribers easily.

Please don't go over board in trying to keep this private - something that can be played can always be ripped and shared. It's better, in my opinion, that at least the original gets sgared. Also, I think the paywall should just be reminder of 'things require money' principle. Please don't put too much policing into safe guarding it.
