Well then the question is which promise did AAP fulfill? What they are doing is a strawman argument, which is to accept 2-3 failures to hide the rest of the failures, and it is just failures which they have achieved and nothing else.

Right questions, counter questions, tough questions-non-scripted as always-Srinivasan Sir ❤ Atishi Ma'am answered all the questions honestly and handled them smartly. However, Srinivasan Sir doesn't let anyone off the hook easily. I appreciate that she had an open conversation, but there were a few things I didn’t like: 1. There was no clear response regarding the cash scheme for women, which seemed to be decided at the last minute. 2. She kept dodging questions about the money spent on the residence. Comparing it to the PM house expenses doesn’t make it justifiable. 3. Her counterarguments on job creation were weak. Referring to a few entrepreneurs doesn’t provide a clear picture of the macro data. It was surprising she didn’t know or quickly check how many jobs were created. It demonstrates that job creation isn’t a top priority for this government Kudos to the transparent and excellent journalism!

Her answers were either data is incorrect (without bringing the correct figures), we made a lot of progress in last 4 months, other states are responsible (for pollution) or deflecting it to BJP's failures. I was expecting more critical self reflection and ideas on what they would do differently in the next term.

Good idea to do counter incorrect claims. The maximum amount of public buses in Delhi was at the time of Commonwealth games. It was almost 11K. It came down drastically to ~5K after which some electric buses were procured. Its still not back to the max that was seen. Moreover, to encourage public transport use, things like student bus passes etc should be reinstated which have been stopped for years. Public transport is a huge failure of AAP govt.

Much love for News Laundry, HOWEVER, while this interview right here is a good example of good journalism - it's also a good example of what's wrong with good journalism. Firstly, was surprised to see the Typical One-Sided Preview-Bait at the beginning of the video (from News Laundry). Secondly, Atisihi took a lot of those questions really well (others not so well - the Rohingya one especially), but I felt like the interviewer could have lingered a bit on what was being said, appreciating it, or sharing perspective on what was said - agreeing or disagreeing. It felt like the interviewer had great questions, and he brilliantly cornered Atishi into answering the questions he asked, preventing her from circumnavigating them with Party-Sloganeering. However, when she did answer the questions, she answered them well, and unfortunately - instead of seeing a genuine appreciation in the interviewer - all I saw was this urgent need to then try and get her with the next question before the timer ran out. This then, IMHO, diluted the whole interview, which could have been a truly great one, into a "What-about-this-What-about-that" game of catch-and-cook. That might be what traditional media might call good journalism - but it doesn't feel very human now that alternatives are rearing their heads - otherwise we might as well have AI journalists to be objectively on point (Sure, Arnab is a disastrous example of the alternative in extreme, but the spectrum indicates that there's a decent in between). In fact, the one part where the interviewer did share his opinion and it felt good was on the Rohingya point, where he said "I would expect a party like yours to defend their human rights". UNFORUNATELY, the interview did not linger so thoughtfully or philosophically on AAP's attempts to curb pollution. Or to appreciate the fact that she claimed - that she's the only Minster who's willing to not only take questions on North India's stubble burning pollution problem (not even the Prime Minister or Environment Minister have apparently done so). AND she can actually point out measurable steps that they've taken and policy that they've made to curb pollution. You would simply shrug off the fact that she just said that they created the 2nd largest fleet of Electric Buses - IN THE WORLD, which would soon be the largest fleet? HUH? Seriously? You don't think it would be good journalism to give the AAP brownie points for that - so that other parties might take notice and vie for similar brownie points? Is it more important to uphold the Unbiased-Journalism-Image instead of agreeing with the good stuff and helping attempt to nudge others in that direction???! A great example of what I'm trying to say with this well-intentioned rant: is the recent Think School interview with AAP - that was brilliant! The interviewer there was patient, planned his time and questions out really well, giving them space to give him good answers. When he agreed with them or if he felt there was something remarkable that they did for governance, he let that linger, and he appreciated it, and he even let them promote it - for example, he informed the audience that the AAP is known for spending 25% of their budget on education, while the Central Government allocates only 2.5 percent on it. At the same time, while he appreciated free healthcare, education, electricity - he fought them unrelentingly on hypocritical vote-baiting freebies that they're giving out such as paying Priests and Maulanas a monthly salary, or Rickshaw walas money for the weddings of their kids. Overall, the interview was really good, however - if you're going to hold politicians that are actually doing good work to lofty liberal standards, then the journalism needs to be held to loftier standards as well. Especially, if the journalist is going to quote Wild Claims from the LG as a statistical fact, which she then debunked with simple logic, and playing into the unverified God-Media Sheesh Mahal propoganda - Like what?! Overall, I guess what I'm trying to say is, if we need to learn critical thinking as society and if the media is best served when educating us in this direction - a key element would be to find a mid-ground between the Socractic method of questioning and Sophistry (inclining more towards the former rather than the latter) and most importantly - mid-ground between Balance and Bias.

The former Delhi Liquor policy benefited Delhi residents, allowing them to purchase inexpensive liquor from A/c Shops without travelling to Gurugram for party supplies. Traders and merchants also benefited, receiving increased commissions and profits. When this policy was adopted in Punjab, it led to a rise in state excise revenue. This policy was successful for all involved, except for the BJP-controlled Liquor mafia in UP and Haryana. Despite over a year passing, the ED has yet to be able to trace any bribe payments or file a charge sheet. After the Exposure of electoral scam data, it is clear that the money trail led to the doorstep of the BJP, which took 55 crores as a bribe.

Ideology of AAP is in 100% compliance with constituency and it is towards fulfilling the idealogy or target behind freedom fight, where as their ideology is against constituency and against freedom fight and if public is supporting that then they are all brainwashed. Time is quite near that public is going to realise the fact and they will face consequences.

Clearly disguesting to see the Atishi how she skipped the CM house question
@ritabhpandey776
@ritabhpandey776 18 сағат бұрын
Well, that’s because they understand politics & elections. For one, the CM house is not a big question if you look at the whole picture as the cost is not exorbitant compared to similar government residences of other CMs & ministers. So there is really no scam or fraud to be found. CBI started its investigation on the property 1.5 years ago. Should’ve concluded by now if there was something. The AAP clearly understands why the BJP is trying to turn it into an issue and they are using clever politics to evade and not let it become the rhetoric that the BJP wants. Not saying its right, but before you can do any good, you have to get elected.

@ritabhpandey776 I am saying that they came into power for transparancy. Their 60% work is too good no doubt they should win the election. Here is the report 1. Schools ( New 39 + 4500(approx)classrooms) but the promise was far from this (also why they do not cover all the schools in their video) 2. Hospitals ( They have done great job). 3. Free 200 unit electricity (great job) 4. Free water (80℅ success) 5. Free bus for women (good job) 6. Yamuna (Totally failed) 7. Air Pollution ( totally failed) 8. Roads ( totally failed) I mean they should public all the data and be transparent. If they are not doing anything wrong.
@educationbit3089
@educationbit3089 17 сағат бұрын
@ They have done a good job but not the best Here is the report Completed / Partial 1. They have constructed 39 Schools + 4100 (rooms) - - the quality of rooms is good ( But they promised 500 Schools), 2. Hospitals are quite good ( People from the other states coming, which is burden) 3. Public Transport - - (Little Improvement because of metro) 4. Free 200 unit electricity (good decision) 5. Free 20000 ltr (good decision) - - (70-80) % benefitted 6. Bus fare free for women 7. Mohalla - - (Some Mohalla clinics are doing well ) Failed Areas / Scams 1. Roads - - ( Roads are not good ) 2. Cleanliness - - ( Some places are clean but mostly dirty ) 3. Yamuna Cleaning - - ( Did not do anything ) 4. Air Pollution - - ( Did not do anything ) 5. Sheesh Mahal - - ( They are not answering, they could construct descent mahal in 10cr ) 6. Liquor Scams - - ( Not clarifying means they have atleast some scam) So, I am saying that they should public their expenditure report (detailed). BTW after all these analysis I will recommend to vote for AAP (But ask questions)

So called neutral journalism why don’t you ask that why Kejriwal did not live like AAM ADMI as he claimed to be. He accused Sheila Dixit of living luxurious life in her house. Now why did he built SheeshMahal

Hey, Let me give you the answer, Arvind Kejriwal the activist & Arvind Kejriwal the elected leader are two different people. Activism is not done by being in government. Activists work on exposing government mistakes & failures. So if you are comparing an activist’s statements with that of an administrator, you will find yourself to be the fool. As for the CM residence, Delhi never had a designated CM residence which the AAP claims they have now built. The cost of construction is at par with other CM residences & minister residences in most states & not exorbitant. Why do dignitaries need such lavish houses? Because they often court other leaders, foreign diplomats and foreign politicians as well as industrialists & businessmen. Where there may be merit in the allegations is that the AAP govt deliberately got bills issued below 10 Lacs because over 10 Lacs would need LG approval. The cost is not an issue here tbh if you compare it with other such projects. I personally work with multiple govt contractors. Now for the security part, AK’s security is provided by the MHA of the Central Government as per protocol. It is not upto a CM or a PM to change protocol. There will need to be constitutional amendment to facilitate that. Hope that helps your queries.

@@ritabhpandey776 I understand the difference between activism and politics. I think you don’t understand that and explaining like a fool. Activism was done by Kejriwal during India against corruption movement. Once he launched the political party and contesting the election, he is a pure politician, no more an activist. Kejriwal after becoming politician wrote in an affidavit where he said he will not reside in a bungalow and he will not take securit if he becomes CM. Got it or still don’t know the difference between activism and politics.

@ There is no such affidavit. It was a press statement and that was before they were in government. Also, security is not upto him.

@ before forming the government but after launching the party and ready to participate in the elect. When you launch a party and ready to contest election, then you are a politician and no more an activist.

AAP started regularizing unauthorized colonies and Delhi has become a bigger basti after Dharavi. Feebees are killing the economy and making people lethargic. Go to CR park and check for yourself, the sidewalks are breaking down everyday, lanes and bylanes are absolutely disaster, Atishi or Arving has not kept their promises. Arvind criticized Sheila Dixit about having 10 ACs in her house, and he build a small palace for Delhi CM. How can one believe these con men?
