AAP could not build new schools as Delhi's land is controlled by DDA, a central government agency that has not allocated any land for school construction. So, they were forced to construct 22,000 new classrooms in existing schools.

delhi should be a UT where only MCD elections are held. central government already controls land and law, and now it has full control over services and bureaucracy. makes it difficult to blame kejriwal for any mis-governance in delhi for me. unlike sheila dixit’s tenure, both the center and state were governed by INC, AAP faces a more complex reality. if AAP had full control over governance, they would have had cash transfers just before the election like what bjp did in maha and hemant soren in jharkhand. but the bureaucracy won’t let them do it in such short time frame. when kejriwal makes noise about this, it risks irritating voters, something he had to contend with earlier. even the MCD mayor lacks power, as the authority lies with the standing committee.

You are known for honest journalism but I'm sorry in this video you have not portrayed the truth & reality. 👎 e.g. 1. When you say AAP has not made as many schools as they said (aapne bataya ki utne schools nahi bane jitne party ne bola that), aapko ye bhi batana chahiye ki land central govt ke paas hai. And BJP govt refused to give any land for ANY new projects. Haar ke AAP ko new classrooms se kaam chalana pada. 2. Nayi buses khareedne ke liye har file LG ke paas jati , aur wo sign nahi kerta. 3. Jo decisions central govt ke paas hain, wo kabhi puri nahi ho sakte bcoz this govt is totally self centered & selfish.

They are just analyzing the promises which AAP made, you're right that Delhi has got the problem of tussle between the Central and AAP government, but when Kejriwal made those promises he must have known the hurdles which he needed to go through... Also, its actually a good analysis where we at least get to know that despite few setbacks AAP still fares much better than any other state government, but it shouldn't be devoid of any criticism and this would force them to live up to the standard they have set up for themselves...

AAP has more credibility than the BJP. For example, Brahmins are core voters of the BJP, but this time, they will vote for AAP because they trust that the AAP government will give the Pojaris Rs 18000/-per month.
