....Wake up right now.. ...............Why America will rule over India after 30 years in future ??? These are main reasons--- 1) Britain left India hurriedly and Nehru accepted " Transfer of British slavery( Ghulam) 19th century corrupt political democracy in India in 1947... 2) Mao took over " Political Power in China in 1949 and controlled corruptions totally and educated all Chinese people and started World's factory in China so China developed now... ..... 3) From Nehru Era to Present Modi government, all Indian Prime Ministers failed to control corruptions at all government offices,Public Administration , Army and Police but still zero corruption policy in China now... 4) Chinese GDP Growth rate was 8-10% during 1963 to 2019( Check Google) but Indian GDP growth rate was 3-5% at the same periods 5) American propaganda media with fake news against " Communism" and China and North Korea destroyed 1.4 billion Indians minds totally even today............ 6) 90 % Indians want to be Americans puppet( Ghulam) now..............

He and his son and daughter must work 6am to 6pm for 1 month. Indian corporates are inhuman. European union rules says a company can ask its employees to work a maximum of 40 hours a week and ensure a minimum of 1700 EUR (~1.5 lakhs Indian rupees) salary per month.

In India, everything has a price.. Labour union can be bought.. all violations of laws can be corrected with money.. For the corporate, India is a land of 1.4billion slaves who do not have any rights by any laws.. So Murthy can say whatever he wants.. And he can do whatever he feels as he has got enough money to shut the mouths of Indian bureaucracy and politics..

I moved to the US from India mainly because of work-life balance. Working in India, I had one of the worst experiences ever. That and along with work politics, India is one of the worst places to work in. In America, our managers tell us to take leave if we work for too long. On Fridays, our directors tell us to take leave after 2pm. Enjoying Saturdays, Sundays exploring different breweries, exploring new activities. America is the best country in the world for me.

In India, life is getting tougher day by day for the middle class. Most Indians are drowning under heavy taxes, but what’s the govt really doing about it? Meanwhile, corporates are living comfortably, and employees are facing more and more exploitation. The worst part is that these big players seem to be enjoying all the perks too. Is this chronic capitalism taking over, or do they just want to crush the middle class entirely?

These heads of organizations are workaholics and officeolics. They live to work and enjoy their time in the office because they call the shots. They don't have have an office supervisor breathing down their necks. They hardly spend time at home or with their families. They leave that all to their wives and they are only home for dinner. Secondly they just make managerial decisions from the top. They are not involved in the day to day nitty gritty of the daily grind to get the work done. They are at top giving out orders and instructions which have to be followed to the T. The CEO's live the good life. No wonder they love the office. We working class, we work to LIVE.

Dear Mr. Narayana Murthy Sir, You are undoubtedly an inspiration and an achiever we all admire. While your vision of working 14-hour days may stem from a desire to secure jobs in India, I wanted to share a humble perspective. Many of us in the IT sector are already working 12-hour shifts, and this intense workload is taking a toll on our health. It's alarming to see an increasing number of young professionals being diagnosed with diabetes in their early 30s. Moreover, the rising demand for infertility clinics is a reflection of the adverse impact of prolonged working hours on overall health and well-being. If this trend continues unchecked, we might inadvertently contribute to a larger crisis where even thriving environments could face desertification-like consequences. I believe prioritizing health alongside professional goals will not only ensure sustainability but also safeguard the future workforce. After all, health is wealth.

My husband worked at least 12h days for Cognizant. It affected his back, stressed him out and made him slower. He already worked weekends unofficially and unpaid to meet unrealistic targets. And for this man to add pressure to people like him is sheer cruelty! Would he say this to employees in UK or US? Tyranny pure and simple, god save Indian workforce from these people

The older generation in India often endures grueling 9-12 hour shifts daily, frequently for minimum wages. Those unwilling to work such hours are often left without opportunities in the private sector. This exploitation benefits capitalists, who grow wealthier and enjoy frequent leisure, while the working class is burdened with relentless pressure and limited family time. Reducing shift time would not only improve the well-being of workers but also create opportunities for the unemployed youth. India's outdated labor laws urgently need reform, but the government prioritizes the interests of the business elite over the welfare of workers. It is imperative for people to recognize this systemic injustice and protest against these inhumane practices. Contrary to textbook explanations, unemployment in India is less about education or job seasonality and more about exploitative overtime policies.

Narayan and entrepreneurs like him fail to understand the difference between an entrepreneur working on his business idea and an employee working for a wage. Its logical to work as long as you can when building or managing your own company. But you cant ask employees to spend their entire waking hours working for your company, to make you money. Thats selfish and elitist.

Back in the day, famous personalities used to give interviews once in a while. Now, they are podcasting everywhere every week or month. Dear media people, where do these personalities find insightful or meaningful topics to discuss? There’s no need to complicate life. Follow a simple rule: dedicate 8 hours to work (with 3-6 hours of focused productivity), 8 hours for personal, family, and social affairs, and 8 hours for sleep. This is called a balanced life, and wherever balance exists, success and serenity are bound to follow.

Nordics, New Zealand and the like I get, hell even the posterboy of free market capitalism USA probably does way better than us, but Japan seriously. Like I get that you picked the example of MS Japan as a specific case study, but Japan as a whole is notorious for toxic work conditions to the extent that they've incidents of rare kinds of heart attacks that could've been fully prevented by just taking a holiday, the sight of a collapsed office worker on street is socially accepted to the extent that there are social conventions for it, and the overworked office worker dying of exhaustion is a common literary trope. The latter is also true for other East Asian countries like China and SK, which have their own homegrown dissenting youth sentiments and euphemisms stemming from the work culture and hypercompetitiveness, which is the same direction we're moving in. It is true that our workers work more hours on average than even Chinese, but that's largely because of the informal sector, largely a product of ineffectiveness (and lack of concern towards the working class) of the Indian state.

In India we have many unemployed people, therefore instead of slyly saying increase work hours of workers would burden the workers in the family life and it would lead to worker burnout but instead new people can be recruited and more people wil gain employment and employer will have more production.
