We must respect the laws of people country. Every time an American violates the law in another country outside of America their fellow Americans always say they are “wrongfully detained “. The man admitted he was guilty. I give him credit for being so honest.

I’d say the same, but…a few years ago went on a trip with friends- wife a kindergarten teacher and husband a banker. We get there, they unpack and find a small loaded gun in their carry on. Went through security and everything undetected. Their son had left it in an inner pocket months before. In that moment I realized never say never. 😓😬

Actually check each country's laws and make sure you totally clear out luggage completely BEFORE you pack to go on a foreign trip.

My box broke, so I threw the round in a sock, and forgot about. I always left it packed because I was constantly on go. Months later I found it, when I grabbed my sox, so yeah can happen.

@@sellsformoola Im a self employed general contractor, so I separate my clothes by rolling the work clothes, and folding my nice clothes. On trips I take the worse work clothes (wear once/a few times, throw away). The rolled up clothes, is what sits in my bag, as I add to it, Like my sox/underwear with holes, throw away, So nope, sense i didnt move the clothea to much, i forgot the bullets. I had thrown in a sock.😂 On trips, it save me packing, saves me laundry, and opens space to bring back, whatever I bought on trip. Which always happens.

They have strict gun laws to keep their citizens safe and tourists just know where your going and maybe check your baggages before you travel would help also know that once you leave the states your now on a whole different set of rules. I just can't imagine if you live in Pa. in which I do why would you put ammo in a suit case I've never heard or seen any hunter go hunting with a suitcase and have ammo in it makes no sense. Hopefully the other Americans can get released soon providing there was no intent of a crime. I'm happy this man got out of their jail and it was fast usually takes months or sometimes yrs to get an American freed. 🙏❤️ Sent to all the families❤️

Don't you like law and order? Don't you like countries being independent and not lectured to by other countries? Don't you like laws being applied fairly to ALL people? Don't you like countries applying strict immigration and customs regulations to non-citizens? Sounds like you think you should have your own laws. I'm sure Turks and Caicos are doing just fine without entitled and stupid tourists. The TSA should have detected the ammunition before he boarded the plane to Turks and Caicos, but you're not mad about that? T&C law enforcement were doing their job properly. Bringing dangerous items on a plane, to another country, is against the law everywhere we go, but I guess common sense and reading comprehension do not come naturally to everyone 🙄
