Knew it. I commented on a previous clip about what medical issue she said she had that she needed to go to a doctor. I guessed mobility issues i.e. something where she couldn't walk or move around easily, which would lead to the custody police to not shackle her as they should. The jailors need to smarten up - she has already shown how cunning she is when she fled the first time.

I'm shocked she didn't attempt to take the CO's weapon, a transport officers worst nightmare scenario. Was there another inmate with them preventing the second officer from trying to catch her? The bullet proof vests are bulky and the duty belt with extra equipment make chasing a woman with nothing to lose and giraffe legs difficult to catch. Kudos to the officer for not giving up with her little corgi legs. Working in a prison or detention facility is nothing like being a cop that spends most or their time sitting in.a patrol car. For those of you commenting on how officers should be equivalent to an olympic athlete here is some news for you. Ninety plus percent of the time is spent standing up and walking on concrete floors anywhere from 8 to 24 hours on shift with little to breaks. I did over 1100 steps in a two story unit or walked over 10 miles per 8hrs depending on where I was posted. It isn't a difficult job if done correctly but it's exhausting physically and mentally. Most of the work is boring and repetitive then everything can turn ugly in an instant. There is a high attrition(and suicide)rate due to the fact that most people can't or won't do this kind of work. The labor pool in areas where prison and longer term detention facilities are located is pretty lean due to their proximity from urban areas except for county and city facilities which are in more densely populated areas. I have seen dozens of new hires flush out their first day on the job or be compromised within the first year which is a moral killer for the rest of the staff. So unless you have "done the time" as a correctional professional inside with no weapons but a radio, a can of OC spray and your wits please give credit to people who risk their safety and lives to do do a thankless job as unrecognized first responders.
