Another crazy case, former Gambino crime family hit man Anthony Senter serving a life sentence is to be released after 35 years and nobody knows why. The guy was part of the most violent group of Mob killers in the '70s and '80s and he likely killed at least 50 people himself and assisting in maybe 100s of murders. And he's coming out...

This was the first time I see a convicted murderer ( who is also an escapee artist), walking out of the room by herself, is brought back, and then approaches the bench and talks to the judge for more than a minute. Why? What did she have to say? Did the judge owe her? What makes her so entitled? Did she really think she was so special that they were going to give her community supervision? what is the accountability for any judge if they keep cameras and microphones and media out? Ashley, you should ask those questions to one of your guests?

I disagree. She stole a life. Therefore if there’s no death penalty law in her state she loses what she took. Life in prison without parole. Period. She now has hope. I find it just ghastly that she allowed to have that when the victim and her family have none. She actively tried to evade capture. She showed no remorse. Imo this is a massive failure of the judiciary system. Condolences to the family.

Future parole board will not let her out because she shot the victim in execution style twice in the head and once in the heart. That's cold blooded and premeditated murder. She then fled the country and showed no remorse afterwards. If she apologized for her actions and plead guilty I would say maybe she had ounce of chance at parole.

Here’s the explanation: 99 years is the maximum sentence. The maximum is for the worst offenders. This is Armstrong’s first felony conviction. That is a mitigating factor, so is worth something in a reduction from the maximum. The jury decided it was worth nine years - not much. In practical effect, it is the same as the maximum.

Travis county is the most liberal county in Texas. It is also the capital of Texas. They defunded the police and still do not have a large police force for it's size . The crime in Austin is really bad. The cost of living is the highest in Texas. Austin has had a large influx of people from liberal states relocate to the area. I live in Texas and I'm surprised she got 90 years from a jury in Austin. Glad to see justice done in this trial.

Its never about the man, you need to stop with that foolishness. This is about inability to cope with adversity amplified by borderline personality disorder. These disorders exists on a spectrum and most women have borderline traits that are mild (ie. fear of abandonment, need for drama, etc.) that are satisfied with strong interpersonal relationships and romance novels/tv shows. But some women have full blown BPD and that's when things get ugly. She's an example of that. Another example is Jodi Arias. If you want a fictional example, I recommend watching Fatal Attraction. Alex Forest is a great example of BPD. Consider yourself just a little bit smarter now that I've told you this...

Hmm, not really, average human life is up to 80, she'll be 65 in 30 years, closer to life end than to her prime. Not to mention that they say it's very unlikely for her to be paroled at 65. She might only leave the prison in a casket, that seems more likely.

My cousin was murdered by drug addicts. Her husband was at work and the children were asleep. The woman testified against the man and was not prosecuted. The man got 30 years. Why? Because my cousin was also a drug addict. He’s been out for about 10 years already.

She won’t she is eligible for parole; it’s difficult to imagine that she is remorseful and apologetic which she will have to be to be considered.

Ok, i initially thought this attorney was very wrong. But I realize now how liberal this county must be for an appellate attorney to think this was a huge win. The “Texas” part of “Austin, Texas” I guess should really be read in isolation because parole eligibility after 30 years (even if not likely) doesn’t sound very texas. Compare Florida… under these facts, I’d bet they’d be seeking the DP.

That is a completely different case/charge and hasn't been through the grand jury and indictment yet. Murder of Mo was a Felony 1st degree (5-99yrs). The escape attempt is a Felony 2nd degree (2-20yrs). But I bet they just drop that charge considering this guilty verdict and sentencing.

Blaming the victim is really bad form. It suggests that KA had a right to kill Mo. The sole responsibility for Mo’s death lies with the person who murdered her. KA could have A) worked out her own insecurity, B) left the worthless male C) got her own life together and realised she can’t control other people and walked away from the whole situation if she was upset about it. and any of those options don’t involve killing another woman who has no obligation to KA. The person who was potentially breaking an ‘obligation’ (which they didn’t seem to have with both of them in dating apps and sleeping around) was Colin ‘the coward’…… Mo did not deserve what happened to her and by blaming her you perpetuate the cycle of violence against women…..

This is such a sad case. Her boyfriend was screwing around on her and lying . Mo Wilson knew he had a girlfriend, was warned and still sought his company. I feel like this was a crime of passion. She should have pled guilty. I think she is terrified of abandonment and used yoga, as therapy, to calm herself. My guess is that she disassociates when things get overwhelming. Colin Strickland should be co-defendant.
