I hate to say it, but elections are about feelings, and the vast majority of Americans are struggling, while the party as a whole and the federal reserve is lying to our faces saying we are all doing so great. Well our bank accounts don't show that, small businesses are seeing massive drops in sales due to a lack of discretionary spending money in the middle class right now. We're surviving, but we're not thriving as they are painting it. And that blatant lying to our faces will keep a lot of democrats away from voting. Mean while, Trump voters 100% blame Biden for their pains, and WILL go out of their way to vote. The polls are tied now, but Trump voters are far more likely to turn out imo than Biden voters. Don't forget that Biden won the last election by just a few thousand votes in a few states. Unless Trump goes to jail before the election, it's a slam dunk for him imo, but the party, controlled by the rich, can't see this, just like they couldn't see how disastrous Hilary was as a candidate. If the majority of Americans were more critical about the information they consumed, they wouldn't be needing people to tell them how things are, or what has already been accomplished or done. During his mandated Covid lockdown rules he was caught at one of the most expensive restaurants in California with a lot of people in attendance and no masks being worn, next he mandated no travel to Montana because of the state’s political views, I believe on abortion. this was a good interview. there was some easy and hard questions. i know Cuomo is left but he's conscience of it to a degree and didn't let Newsom off easily on every issue. i'd like to see more of this type of thing. i saw Newsome lie quite a bit on here and i expect that from politicians (especially patting themselves on the back about being humble) but this was much better than cnn or msnbc interviews where they fawn over their guests that they prop up and have a clear agenda in doing so.

I'm a native Californian and still reside here. I had family flee this state for a better life (and they are living it) when Newsome became governor. I plan on leaving when I retire. CA is riddled with homelessness, failing infrastructure, laws that favor the criminal and it is outrageously too expensive to live here. Wanna know why there are more jobs in this economy? No one can afford to live in the US or compete with inflation. Newsome was a condescending prick during the pandemic while he and his aunt Nancy botched the rules they made for CA to get their hair done or dined at expensive restaurants without masks or social distancing. He can talk a good talk, but for the love of god, do not let him in the white house!

I fled California because I could no longer stand to see the state I grew up in being destroyed so quickly. How quickly it turned into a third world country when Gavin took office. The straw that broke the camels back was telling my kids to avoid stepping on heroin needles on our neighborhood walks. We are now a year from when we moved and could not be happier. My biggest fear is Gavin running for President and turning this country into California. It is so disheartening hearing these lying politicians say “Look around, it’s so great and wonderful” when in actuality, it’s the worst it’s ever been. Lord come quickly! Maranatha!
