My dad was a kid in the 60's and he's told the story many times of when he saw a UFO. This is in upstate NY, he's outdoors, his parents had a farm and he's by the cornfield. He says he saw a "silver cigar shaped" thing. He was just standing there watching it, it hovered briefly, then shot out of sight so fast it was like instantaneous. Also he said there was no sound. We always knew he was telling the truth, his story was the same every time, his was just as excited and in awe retelling the story as he was the first day.

Watching that man cry on the segment last night is exactly how I felt when The Phoenix Light UFO flew right over my head in 1997. I was on a hill, the craft was low. I could clearly see the bottom of the craft with the light of my headlights and a nearby street light. Just after the craft flew over my head it was followed by a colorful mist. At that point I felt like something clicked in my head and I began crying until the craft was out of sight. Ever since then I've become a better person, give the other guy a break more, happier, my friends and coworkers all notice the change. I sit in my house smiling for no reason, I let people cut in line, I've not honked my horn once in 28 years years when prior to this experience I did have some road rage. What that man described is exactly how my life has changed, for the better 24 hours a day for over a quarter of a century. Most every time I speak of my sighting I cry still, happy tears, joy, gratitude. I still catch myself speaking out loud 'thank you, thank you, thank you' to whoever it was inside that craft that night. I would love to get to share my life changing personality change of patience, love, gratitude, joy with that man. I am so grateful they included that in the segment. Of all the other witnesses to The Phoenix Lights I've spoken to none had the profound feeling of gratitude and love that I felt and it's still a constant feeling 24/7 all these years. It's like my DNA changed in a second.

To be sceptic doesn‘t mean I‘m „against him“ as a person! There are reasons for scepticism, it‘s nothing bad or evil. Doesn‘t automatically mean I don‘t believe him or don‘t believe any of it. There‘s more than just pro or contra alltogether and interpersonally. What tells you he knows what everything is about? What I know is that there‘s something to a subject or a specific research that suddenly disappeared from the official picture which tells me it was likely continued (in secrecy) somewhere bc there‘s no way techn. that possibly would have a huge impact on possible military ops if advanced enough was suddenly completely stopped being researched. No way! So where did it go? And WHO worked in that research field and what‘s the actual state? As long as I don‘t know that, I‘m not ready to just believe anything that in one or the other way could be related to that, like unusual devices, craft etc (working mechanisms of devices, craft), same for „NHI“ or „ET-anything“. That doesn‘t mean exclude it completely from being a possibility, I‘m just not a „believer“ from one „disclosure story“. I believe he experienced something, not saying he‘s lying at all. But how does he KNOW what it was, what it wasn‘t if it‘s something he‘s not seen before? Too many open questions to believe in something specific from his story only. There are so many possible reasons for, causes of his experience. We‘ll see what we‘re about to learn or will be told to believe or not to believe by whomever. So often things are not what they seem at first sight. He had a huge experience, I can acknoledge that whatever it was. I imagine him to have functioned rationally for so long in his position that I don‘t find it suprising his emotions were overly activated by a specific experience. Nothing unusual in itself. I grew up within a scientific community where people were all about objective material proof and most of them, at some point, mostly at older age, had some kind of experience or insight and suddenly believed in god or something alike where no material objective, scientifically agreed on proof was the basis for. I think it‘s simply human. We need that to be human, we can‘t be all about rationality all the time. It‘s not the human essence or only part of it anyway;)

The reason Rogan is so big is because he has a conversation, not an old school interrogation the way Ross does. Ross "over-reports." For Ross to become a huge Rogan-style podcaster he would need to change his style a little and not be so litigious in his style. He was a lawyer and so it always comes across as a little advocatorial. I would love to see him grow bigger and just report on the phenomenon but to do it in a more conversational and more relaxed style. So that his guests would also relax into it as well. All of this feels very "60 minutes circa 1990".

Thank you for making this video. I was in the gifted and talented program. I've had all kinds of experiences. I also had an uncontrollable urge to join the military. I AM A GENTLE WARRIOR. I got into over 10 flights in school and, I was expelled from high school for fighting.
